I want to say that I think Randy was very good to Adam, from the time of his first audition before the judges, when Randy said he thought the music business was ready for someone fresh like Adam.
But, gawd, I am tired of this man, and I don't even watch Idol.
I thought the idea was to reinvent Idol this year, to reinvigorate it, to bring in a younger audience.
Well, consider the ages of the supposed panel.
Randy 56
Keith 44
Mariah 42
Nicki 29
I guess Nicki singlehandedly is supposed to attract the whippersnappers.

My 11-year-old and her friends love Nicki Minaj--even if I don't always approve of the lyrics. It took me a half a year to figure out she was singing "higher than a m-f" in Starships. Anyway, that's no doubt part of the appeal. She's edgy and outrageous. But if I ever told my daughter she was 29(!) she would say, wow! she's so old! (in fact I think I'll try it tomorrow  ) I kinda want the show to stay oldy-moldy now. If they want hire AL, I want them to be seen as no longer relevant. Yes, I'm being a Bitterbert, lol. |

I just thought of someone. Whatever happened to Animated? I always loved his/her work but haven't seen him/her on board for a (blue) moon.
Animated is extraordinarily talented. So often CG art is poorly done, but his/her stuff was exquisite. Anyone know? (I know I'm posting in middle of night for a lot of you, but I'm curious.

;)The Blonds theme this year was Beach Blondes, hence the swimwear. Sort of. Chlorine will not touch that show. The motorcycles last year with the blonde ponytails coming out the back of the helmets were great, plus Elmo was there.
