I am wondering who are the ladies in the pics with Adam at The Blonds show? Would appreaciate if you could help me get a clue  There were two that I remember, a blonde with almost no hair and a brunette with a LOT of hair. |

Appropriately, the Blonde's niche, in part, is diva pop singers: Katy Perry, Beyonce, and Rihanna have all worn his stuff in concert and to award shows, I think (lots of those sparkle-y one piece bathing-suit-sort-of looks). I wonder if Adam is the only male pop singer who has worn their clothes . . .) I LOVE that white and black top and matching shoes look because it is, for men's fashion, daring (especially the kind of puffy sleeves) AND, I think, it's also sharp and flattering. He is so not just good-looking, but striking and interesting-looking (good for attention-getting in magazine and on web-sites), and he is so much into non-boring fashion especially for a man, AND his hair really is so amazing, it's inevitable, I guess, that that is all going to get as much if not more attention sometimes than his singing does. I don't know whether Adam is the only male pop singer who has worn The Blonds' clothes, but he is the only man in the promotional video on their website: www.theblondsnewyork.com/the_blonds.htmlAll the pop divas are in it -- Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney, Beyonce, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, the Sex and the City gals, etc. -- and Adam. The Adam clips are bits from his FYE and IIHY videos. ETA: The Blonds' client base is pretty impressive. They definitely don't make clothes for everyday wear, but judging by the video, they are very popular with the music industry folks for stage wear. |

I like the radio edit (especially the one the Texas station played). And, basically, it is what it is. I hope fans can get behind it because if Trespassing does not do at least moderately well, there will most likely be no more singles from this era. How this single does is kind of important. I don't think it's that dramatic. I've always tought that Cuckoo and Shady would work better as singles than Trespassing. If this doesn't work out, for God's sake, I really hope they try Cuckoo. Who doesn't love Cuckoo? I'm sure that one would work. Not "dramatic," but at some point it becomes counterproductive to keep releasing singles that aren't working. But, Trespassing is in the very early stages, and it is an awesome song so I think it has a great chance of catching on. So, I wonder when we will find out the adds date. And the cover art. |

I think Trespassing is an excellent choice for a single. There has been lots of anecdotal that non super fans respond well to it on this board. This is true in my family. It is the favorite on the album for my sister, daughter and son. I remember that it was the highest charting track on iTunes when the album dropped. It has an empowering message and one that is very Adam. Personally, I love the radio edit. If things went by logic in the world, this song should do well.
Sadly, corporate radio plays by its own rules. I really don't think there is much fans can do to help. I know I requested BTIKM and NCOE faithfully on my local HAC station and they were never played. Trespassing seems like a better match for their playlist because I live in a college town and they seem to like music a little more edgy.

Why I dont find anything about The Blonds in MBFW Official site?!!! About Falguni yeah, I can find... but about The Blonds, nothing... could someone know about that? I think The Blonds Show was also part of MBFW right? This is their facebook, I am not sure what you are looking for? Sorry if this does not help. I didn't listen to the radio for quite a long time until yesterday. I found the music on the radio so different from Trespassing, and there was a serve lack of powerful songs like Trespassing. I felt like Trespassing a make-or-break song, if people can get it, it will be big, if not....Idk. I mean if the general public is fed up with lazy tunes on the radio, they will catch on Trespassing, but if they are too familiar with them and don't welcome any thing different then...it'll be tough for Trespassing to fly.

I enjoy the fact that "fashion week" provides Adam such a nice opportunity and fitting context to showcase that side of himself.
For me, the more new clothes and the more new looks he has - the better! It's another exciting, fun, creative aspect of who he is and what he shares. Last season, he bought the red dragon jacket . . . can't wait to see what he might have chosen this year.
