At Q3's suggestion, here is my comment on The Blonds show on p. 1. I can hardly even focus on the fashion (no, not trying to see Adam). I find the female models so distracting and unpleasant looking from the extreme skinniness, to the affected walk with feet crossing over in front of each other and hands swinging behind their bodies. Some of them are really teetering in their high heels--ankles all wobbly. Why do the men get to use a normal walking gait? The fashions in these shows don't really interest me because they are pretty much costumes that no one really wears except for people like Adam and Rhianna on stage. I'd rather look at high fashion that I can imagine people actually wearing out in public. I am with you, holst. The look of the great majority of these bodies makes me sick actually, not to mention the psychological effects on the millions of girls and women the fashion industry inflicts... Men had "normal" bodies thank god, at least at this show.... |

Hi....I'm going to repost this from yesterday for those who might not have seen it:
THE QAL DVD's
WOW! I had absolutely NO idea the demand for these. When I posted that I had them all and could make copies I thought maybe 10 or 12 of you would want 1 or 2 each
I have had over 100 requests...many of them for all 5 DVD's. It just seems impossible for me to realistically do them all. So I've been doing some checking around because I hate to disappoint all of you that have asked.
The only alternative I can come up with is to use a commercial duplicating service. The advantage of that is that everyone could get what they ordered in a reasonable amount of time.
I had initially figured the cost which would just cover the material, packing & shipping would be about $7 each if I did them. If I used a duplicating company, cost would run around $15-16 each.
I don't know how many of you would still be interested, but I'd be glad to use my originals and have the dups made and ship them to you. If enough people want it, I'll be glad to do it.
So, it's up to you. I have shipped a few of the people that only wanted 1 DVD...so if I DM'd you with a confirmation and my contact info, yours is in the mail. For the rest of you, let me know how you'd like to proceed.
And for any of you that DO want to go with the "new plan"..I'd advise not to waste $$ on the Moscow DVD. The quality was good, but the only available vids had a lot of people obscuring the shots.
My apologies for any inconvenience. My intentions were good...but I had NO CLUE how many of you would want these!!
To keep the cost down, it is best to run 1 complete duplication...so...
I'm going to set a time cut-off for Sunday 9-23.
If you still want your original request filled with the new pricing, you will need to DM me to confirm. Without a confirmation, I'll assume that you are cancelling your order.

Awww, Augenpoesie, I'm so sorry you don't like it. I LOVE it, and many other people as well. There were a lot of posts saying how great it is. It's extreme and daring and obviously not meant to be worn to the grocery to buy milk. I enjoy the fun and excitement of haute couture even if these garments are nothing I could ever wear. loved Adam's look at fashion week. |
