LOL I have a lot of followers who write books in the same genre I do, and would understand that tweet because they know who Jake Bass is. I also follow/am followed by Adam fans. Jake is a friend, and yes, a very popular gay porn star. :  He is also a sweetie - like Adam he is kind, smart, ambitious, funny and creative. Re: Idol, what ever happens, happens. If Idol went with in-house mentors, I could see Adam being one. That way it may give people another reason to tune in to focus on the contestants after the novelty of the new judges have worn off.
I'm sure there is lots of stuff going on beside the scenes. Adam is too smart, hardworking, and determined with his career to remain stagnant.

OMG NM told fans there is no announcement? WTF?? I have been checking the Amer Idol page and there is no official news, as you all know. I wonder how much of this is rumor?
Seriously, if they don't hire Adam, someone on their staff needs to be fired, because as mimijoy says that will be the end of the show. I wouldn't watch for any one of the four - Randy, NM, Mariah or KU. IMO - no offense to fans - NM is in no way shape or form qualified to be judging anyone!

I have received multiple reports (3) from Idol contestants or their family members who were invited to the NYC Judges' Audition Round on Sunday 9/16 and Monday 9/17. Two report that Nigel told them they would be singing for Mariah, Nicki, Keith and Randy. >> I wanted to wait until I had more than one report before I posted because I wanted to be more certain. >> This is still not final but I think it is pretty close. In 2010 they officially announced the judges at the first judges' round in LA -- on a Wednesday 9/22/12. So perhaps they decided to do this on in NY on a Sunday? And that makes more sense than late Friday. Randy is going to judge Idol? Anyone direct me where to start in the thread and is it officially official this time? Thanks! Not official yet. May be official on Sunday. |

Since Mariah and Randy now occupy half of the judges chairs, maybe her husband and one of her kids could fill the other two. Then it would be a complete monopoly and they could rake in all the dough. Bitter? Me? Nah. I hope Idol bombs so bad this year.  |
