Since it's a fairly slow day, I'm going to repost this link to a video of Trespassing backwards. I posted it yesterday but no one commented and I think it's really hilarious ... which makes me think 1) no one noticed it because I don't know how to embed, or 2) I'm the only one that thought it was funny and that makes me a little weird, or 3) everyone commented and my little pea brain just missed it. I saw this a couple of days ago when it was posted on twitter. The words added are just hilarious, and the person who wrote the above quote is right on--he sounds great played either way. I kept trying to transpose the song in my mind when listening, though...hah. |

Hahaha... I really like it. Sounds Latin flavored to me:-) I wonder if that is how the sounds transend words for our non-English as a first language friends...
On a different thought: I am trying to keep up but did Adam do any radio while in New York??? With a new single coming out I would have thought we would have more radio buzz, or any for that matter, while he was there unless I missed it...

ADAM, WHERE ARE YOUUUUUU??????Jeez... one year ago today we were STILL WAITING for Adam's first single. He had tweeted, "I'm 90% sure the first single will be out next month (ish)"To keep us from going completely insane, one year ago today Q3 was taking nominations for "The Greatest Song in the World" (in any language). Reihmer was doing major pic spams to keep us entertained. JustKaren posted a pic of her new great grandbaby... ;D And I was still posting rain gifs for Texas. :  And it rained in Texas -- and we finally got the LEAD single for Adam's 2nd album!! Just took RCA 3 f'ing tries!! ETA: I think backwards Trespassing is a hit!!  Love the lyrics!! |

I just hope he wasn't screwed over in any way. It's now Sept. 15 and we don't have any idea what "stuff" he held his schedule open for or what he was so excited about, but it does seem like is mood has changed. Though everywhere in NY, he looks fierce and gorgeous as hell, but is rarely smiling and he did not sound his usual self on that South Africa interview. It may have been being tired (he's done lots of tired interviews) or the delay, but his voice sounded more reserved than I've ever heard on an interview. :-/ That interview really surprised me. I've heard him give interviews when he's tired before but there was something definitely different about this one. After worrying about it a bit I decided it was all in the ears of the beholder (me) because no one else seemed to notice anything amiss. And maybe he WAS just tired. But it disturbed me. The thought of him holding his schedule open & delaying release of TSP for what seems to have been nothing makes me stabby. And btw I saw myself in Q3's remark & that's why I found it funny. :D |

If that idol announcement tomorrow is going down as expected, I think Chunkey should really consider sending this top 10 list (or whatever number it is right now) to David Letterman for consideration.
