Checking in from Heathrow. Had limited access to wifi in some places so lots of catching up to do.
Stopped at the HMV store to get some more CDs. There were 5 so I bought 4. When I asked the guy for Adam's album, he said, "Oh, the new frontman for Queen. He is good." I wanted to hug him but that would have been awkward.
When i paid, the other guy at the counter said I must really like Adam and wasn't he the winner of AI? (never gets old). Told him I loooooove Adam and that my DH and I were here for the QAL concerts. Also told him about his sold out GNT, yada, yada. He said, "your enthusiasm is infectious. I better check him out!". I left the store with the biggest grin on my face.

I'm in NY on my way to the airport, flying to LA this morning then back to NY tonight. I'm very excited I get the new IDOL judges tomorrow.

While getting ready to go on one of my long flights, i saw that my DH has read Fifty Shades of Grey (hmmmm....). So I grabbed it for the long flight to Manila. While it is not the best piece of literature, it was entertaining. Today I finally finished the third book in the trilogy. Interesting observations:
- The description of Christian Grey reminds me a lot of Adam; tall, handsome, sensual.
- Anastasia Steele loves to say, " Oh my"....wasn't there some discussion about its use in "Take Back"?
- The Red Room of Pain could have been the inspiration for Red River of Screams?
- Anastasia's father's name: Franklin A. Lambert - ha, same initials except in a different order!
