In Liam and Aidan's winning video, there are so many cool details, the boys really made an effort. I can't wait for the Adam Lambert Hour on Saturday to hear Liam's reaction. Anyway, at the end of the video, there's this banner, a logo, I presume created by them: it's simple, smart, clear in its message, effective, and perfect for the song. I took a screencap:  The McEwan bros. video (and this logo) is based on the LMFAO video for Party Rock Anthem. I love Liam and Aidan's vid. They did a great job and certainly deserved the win! |

OT (for those who might enjoy some diversion in between Trespassing videos) About Brandi Carlile because NoAngel tweeted about her and her song 'The Story' which I happen to like too. Brandi shares the ideology with Adam in hoping to provide an example for the LGBT youth to pursue their dreams. I came to know her music from Grey's Anatomy musical episode early 2011 where Sara Ramirez sang her song The Story. Sara who plays Callie (lesbian character on the show) shares Adam's musical theatre background and strong interpretation (also the smile in live performances  ). OMG THIS IS SUCH A WONDERFUL DAY FOR SO MANY REASONS!
1. HOPPERS CHECKED IN! Lollies/schmollies! I have missed your wise-cracking smart ass! And maybe the rest of you, too! So sorry to hear of all the medical drama. I hope your father and everyone else are on the mend.
2. We have RADIO ADDS! I don't care that there are only two of them; I don't care what kind of stations they are; I just care that we have adds! Woot!
3. A journalist, I say, A JOURNALIST, possesses a pic of Adam in briefs and a shirt. Now, it is in a journalist's nature to journal, is it not? As in, publicly. To disseminate information deemed essential to the public interest. AND WE ALL KNOW THIS IS ESSENTIAL INFORMATION. That pic WILL OUT!
4. Let's keep political commentary off here unless it directly pertains to Adam.
5. ADAM! He exists! He lives, he loves, he laughs, he makes music... this is a wonderful day!

I am an eternal optimistic...I think there is still the mentor slot....I think Adam would be fab at this. He needs to keep AI on his good side...they have been good to him. I'm with you there, I haven't been a fan of current mentoring method or Iovine. |

Nah, it's not that deep. This is pretty typical and expected. As a whole, fans rarely completely move on from a big disappointment in 24 hours. It just takes a little time. People should take the time they need and enjoy a good wallow. On the other hand, 4Ms may be onto something - it may BE that deep in some cases, whether one is seeking a little mental health support for life's bumps or say borderline personality disorder. In catching up news, (aside from 'Idol stupid to Adam:Hulk Smash!!' Which I agree with completely though let's spare poor KU), I loved the Egyptian graphic of Adam - way above average for fan art. So I'm looking fwd to Adam's appearance on Pretty Little Liars; hoped for appearances in new tv season and a multi ep role in Smash; Whole Food sightings; and of course the real high holiday for Adam - Halloween! He could be a very hot pharaoh clearly though he may still be having bad associations from his time in 'Ten Commandments - The Musical!!' :D Is the Smash reference just wishful thinking or are there indications that it could happen? I would absolutely love that. I am really jazzed about PLL. That is exactly the kind of promo he needs. |
