OT but - Whoa!!!! Just heard the A's opening night vs The Mariners Jet "fly-over", fly over my house! Ran out too late to see them - Man, they're fast!!!  Reminds me of seeing these guys, while on the Marina Green, during "Fleet Week" ~   ;D (Check out all the people on the roof of Alcatraz!! I've been there several times - when our company installed all the fire sprinkler systems there several years ago & a couple of times as a tourist - They don't let people on the roof!! I guess they're special! & what a view you get to watch from - the Blue Angels "fly / show zone" is between The Golden Gate Bridge & Alcatraz!) |

Why would Kris consent to a Behind The Music interview for an Adam Segment? Gotta be a tad weird, no? Didn't have a choice? It's the smart thing to do? I'm with Rad.. I don't get why Kris would be wrangled for this.. I am not sure just Weird is enough.. has Kris had any profile done on him? I realize that Adam is far more visible.. but there was just the THS done.. why a BTM already.. sorry doesn't make any sense to me. so I am not squeeeeing at all just yet.. I, too, am suppressing my squee (which, incidentally, is supposed to be a good exercise, I hear . . . ) Doesn't ring true to me, either that particular show or Kris' participation. |

I am so tired tonite, but I think the Kris thing is just to keep him visible. I actually felt sorry for him, being in the audience with Katie and not performing on stage. I doubt he will perform this season.

If it's true that Kris is doing some interviews for Adam's BTM then it's prolly a smart idea I guess. I mean it's not like the guy gets alot of promo esp now that he is inbetween albums. It is a tad odd, considering he was the winner and he would essentially be a guest on a show about the dude who was the runner up, but guess it's better than nothing. I like Kris, I do, but some of these Idols really need to take lessons in how to take their promotion into their own hands and make the buzz happen bc alot of the times 19E is one big fat fail. What Adam has been able to do really well, something that no Idol to my recognition so far has been able to do, is be his own PR man and keep his name constantly in the media and in people's minds, even when he isn't pimping any music or projects at the time. That's what it takes to be a bonafide star these days. Oh well. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Yeah, probably all that. If true he would essentially be in the position of "gushing" about the guy he beat. I like him Ok too. How'd you like to go along known as the guy that beat Adam Lambert in a singing contest. |

It looks pretty certain that Adam is getting a BTM and it is because VH1 knows that people will watch. Adam is growing in popularity and in celebrity. He has an interesting story. Ratings, clicks, ad sales. End of story. |

I thought I would share since I have been caught off guard by many a post that resulted in quite an array of beverages being spewed onto my keyboard.
