Woo-Hoo! WE DID IT!!!!! Back from the Uh Huh Her concert! Yes, Adam and Sauli were there, Sasha, Alisan Iraheta, and a few more people that I don't remember because seeing Adam blows my mind! ;D Camila's dad was right next to me. Sweet, sweet man and a very proud Papa! It was a good night! |

Off TopicI'm not one to cry but this video is so touching that it brought tears ht.ly/1c0lIQ Wow, lindy! If y'all haven't watched this, please give it a view! I wish it would be this way in schools, but my youngest son was tormented in middle school, about being gay. A larger boy was next to my son, slamming his locker shut every time he tried to open it. I called the school and their solution was to give my son a locker in the younger kids section - he begged me not to get involved anymore! I promised, but told him not to put up with it anymore! Teachers would not help him, I couldn't, so I told him not put up with it anymore! He was playing football from the age of 5, starting guard on the football team and knew how to take someone out! His personality was he was kind to everyone, never was violent but this kid and one of his friends followed him home one day, mocking him, calling him names and he just snapped! Turned around, tackled him and beat the crap out of him! He left my son alone for the rest of Middle School and in High School. My son played first string in football, was in the school plays, got a 35 on his ACT's, dated the prettiest girl, got a scholarship to UI. Went to NYU Law School and of course, is gay! Now living in NY with his partner Daniel. I wish this would have happened in school, maybe some day.... |
