I am beginning to wonder if Adam is getting lost in the shuffle? Xtina is pushing her new single Your Body with a fury, and now Kesha is coming out with her new single for her new album. They must be waiting to target October. But, the fall will be crowded with new stuff, so promo will be competitive. This is a third single which typically doesn't get the same push a lead-off single gets so it will be interesting to see what RCA does (and not interesting in an "angsty" way, just interesting in a "I like to follow this stuff and really wonder what direction they will take" way  Anyway, I don't think he is getting "lost;" I just don't think they've started yet. Agree! The TV promo was done too early for both BTIKM and NCOE. The single needs some radio play then TV. I am looking for it to be heavy in October. Can't compare promo to KESHA or XTina's as these are their lead singles off new albums, completely different than a 3rd single. (Even if I do consider this the real first single!) ;D |

This station is really proving to be a tough nut to crack for people coming off reality music shows (Home has been sitting in the top of iTunes, and showing up everywhere else, for weeks) |

alidol @glam_alidol a movie producer (she is a glambert) told me adam lambert maybe also attend a commercial gig too （Sheraton 's Grand Opening）, will not sing Sharon_Miller1962 @shadylady_1031 @glam_alidol that would be great if he attends Sheraton's Grand Open. Hope he does sing tho. Is he on his way to China? alidol @glam_alidol .@shadylady_1031 that gig is at 18:15 today beijing time,i think maybe he is in china now Maybe it has been mentioned before, but who is alidol? Even Q102 hasn't added it. If they play it, that would be the bump it needs in Top 40. But so far Z has given it zero spins. |

Pure speculation, but what the hell. Wasn't Trespassing originally announced to come out in November of last year? I thought they were going to work on a *redemption/acceptance* rollout where he gets to perform his new single at AMAs and the producers, ABC, etc. get to pat themselves on the back about how open they are, that he was never banned at ABC at all, and demonstrate how they are welcoming him "back" with open arms. Then, for some reason, the album release gets pushed back to 2012 (February at beginning?), AMAs/ABC do a very much less hyped "welcome back" with him announcing an award--not performing--and instead we get that really anemic first single rollout randomly some time in December.
Do you all remember when Eber tweeted AL and told him to stick to his guns/trust his instincts, or something like that? I've always wondered what he was butting heads creatively about. Him wanting a more current sound versus the label wanting more WWFM HAC fodder? Or vice versa? I'd like to assume the former rather than the latter, but he DID keep saying the second album would have more songs in the WWFM vein--and if it it ain't broke ...
Then I think once Scenario A didn't happen (fall release/AMA redemption performance), they decided to go with Plan B, add the Bruno song and study the charts so that he would at least be assured of a number 1 debut.
The other thing is why did they put so much money into the first two videos if they weren't going to support it with getting the songs to radio (or maybe they tried, but the timing of the releases was so strange).
Again, I hope they didn't hold up the works just for the Bruno song.
Still not angsting, but suppose that the fan-made single was not a diversion but because label is not going to do a third vid, even a cheap one, and they were hoping a fan-made video would have to suffice.
Sorry for all the Monday-morning quarterbacking, but with so many unanswered questions, speculation is all we have.

Z100 rejects songs like Home on a regular basis, so someone that is extremely influential is making Home a top priority. Pop radio is dragging its feet on this one, like I haven't seen them do on a popular iTunes song in a long time. IMO, pop radio is pushing back from the reality show contestants in a very visible way. |
