Likewise. I hope he finds another label soon. Do you think Adam could get dropped in the future? He's really big internationally, but considering his celebrity the sales are kind of disappointing, aren't they? And business is business, after all... EDIT: It's not a doom and gloom kind of post. I don't think he'll get dropped. It's just a question, I'm curious. I don't understand very well the music business. Adam is not at risk of being dropped by RCA. Labels look at future potential and Adam clearly has huge potential. Part of future potential is past performance. Past success matters but is not defined as US album/track sales: Setting that aside, less than half of the revenue that Sony Music Entertainment makes from a recording project (AKA album) is from the sale of recorded music (albums and singles). Of the part we can see, recorded music sales, we are only seeing a part of Adam's sales when we look at US sales. The US is now only about 25% or global music sales -- although a larger percentage of US artist's sales. If Sony dropped Adam, UMG would sign him in 1,2,... signed. Yeah.. UMG.. Capital.. will get in line... LOL.. It's so funny how people in Idol buble only think that US market is what matters. They don't even think outside the box that called USA. They don't even consider his potential internationally. And we all know that it's not easy to get numbers from outside of the US. Oh well.. :-/

[/IMG]
See if you have an actual Ticketmaster shop in your area. I got tickets for Adam in Canada from our local one. I got there just before they opened and I was the only one there!!

[/IMG]
Maybe it's a computer thing and you need to reboot?
Thanks for checking, Pi and Q3. I just rebooted and tried again - and the same thing happened. I watched the circle spin for several minutes without leaving the page . . . nothing. I have an Apple and use Firefox . . . and I can't get to the purchase window! What if this is happening to others?? :dunno: . . . I don't want ANYTHING to keep people from buying tickets to see Adam!!!

I'd avoid that place if you don't want your blood pressure to go up. >:(

Perhaps the right part has not been written that he would be interested in? Do all of you know that Adam auditioned for Glee before Idol happened? I think he was called back a couple times. They loved his voice, but ultimately decided he looked too old to be in high school. Their loss, our gain.

[/IMG]
hmm. I had no problem when I purchased mine. I just rechecked and also had no difficulties getting to the site. Most of the seats I saw were for upper levels. Try another computer maybe, IDK, its a puzzle.

I think that we can safely say that Adam is "interested" in almost everything, but then considers his choices, listens to his management team and makes his decisions. On Glee -- I seem to recall that Adam once said that he had not talked to them about being on the show but would love to do it. Does anyone else remember this? ETA: I am so happy Adam did not get the GLEE part. If he got that, he would not have auditioned for Idol.

Just a follow up: That German article (actually it is Austrian, which screwed up at least one part of the translation), but anyways...the article is - very respectfully worded in all parts - very positive - multiple references to his music, including a music video imbed - informative ( Trespassing is NOT forgotten here and the facts are correct in this article) - the first sentence should be translated 'the out gay ........." (informative explanation in a gay magazine as to why this topic is being talked about. AL is not all that well known yet in AT, so this is necessary info). I read one comment that said: Even if the google translation is to blame and the original is not harsh, it is still negative or a problem. Could you please explain why that would be the case? Is what is being suggested here that the German and Austrian media is somehow supposed to stop reporting about Adam because certain people don't like Google translate? Huh? And that helps Adam how? Scratches head and wonders off slightly mystified. Thanks, I corrected the origin to Austria in my post. My bad, eyes fixated to the '.de' in the link lead to a false conclusion (also the person tweeting about it was from Berlin). And I was wondering if the readers did not see 'pride' either in the link or in the big banner on the site. Well, there's proof again for "we see what we want to see"...
