I think that we can safely say that Adam is "interested" in almost everything, but then considers his choices, listens to his management team and makes his decisions. On Glee -- I seem to recall that Adam once said that he had not talked to them about being on the show but would love to do it. Does anyone else remember this? ETA: I am so happy Adam did not get the GLEE part. If he got that, he would not have auditioned for Idol. He did say a while back he would love to be on the show Lea Michele wanted him on the show ,said she wanted to sing with him,that he was the best ..that was about a year or two ago. Well maybe after Pretty Little Liars.. some TV roles will start coming in.. I'm sure you all were waiting with bated breath for the continuation of my long-winded post  Ok, I remember there was an Adam sighting the summer after Idol on the Glee set. There was much speculation about him being on the show. I saw Lea Michele and Cory Monteith (that could be wrong name--guy that plays Finn), where she expressed her love for him and Cory backed her up and said she had a giant crush on him and she blushed. Then she said something like he was the best singer so why not work with the best? I'm thinking for some reason this was on Letterman (maybe Fallon or Kimmel). Not long after, during an interview, after a lot of questions about Glee, AL finally said that he had talked to them but he felt there wasn't a part for him that wasn't stereotype "gay guy" part (like, say, Kurt's older cousin who consults him about dealing with h.s. as a gay male--this is just a scenario I made up). AL said he wanted to concentrate on his music and not be pigeon-holed into as a "gay performer." This is all before the show got really hot and everyone was pushing to be on or have their catalog on it. Perhaps someone could clarify, but I think the show started as a mid-season replacement show, so that's why I'm thinking this happened when show was on hiatus for summer. He also said that he wasn't that good an actor. I always wondered if he was considered but he didn't feel up to it. At that time, he had the greater star power between himself and Glee. I think we need a Burning Questions thread, maybe, for these little mysteries. (Wouldn't work in the questions we would ask him necessarily because I don't think I would pose a question like this to him.) Like JazzRocks, I'm always curious about behind-the-scenes, career-/industy-related "mysteries" (much more so than, say, what he wears to bed--honestly I don't care. Might be in the minority there, tho! ;D) Ah well. It's always the questions that will probably never be answered that I am most curious about. |

Just read on Yahoo news that Chikfil-A has stopped their policy re:donating to anti-gay groups. Huh. Color me skeptical. I am not much for junk food but loved theirs and ate there too often. Haven't eaten there since I learned about their anti-gay activities and still not going to because of their history. Not buyin it... literally  |

Thanks, I corrected the origin to Austria in my post. My bad, eyes fixated to the '.de' in the link lead to a false conclusion (also the person tweeting about it was from Berlin). And I was wondering if the readers did not see 'pride' either in the link or in the big banner on the site. Well, there's proof again for "we see what we want to see"... Thanks, Belle. That 'de' threw me for a loop too, I can fully understand and there was nothing wrong with what you brought over via google. I was reacting more to some statements that were made later. No need to reiterate, I think all points were made. I am finding right now very little in the German online press about Adam. It is very quiet. He has been mentioned once or twice for being at the side of Paris Hilton at the Blonds-Show, but the articles or picture descriptions were about her and only mentioning him as a sidebar without any further explanations. Neither gay not otherwise. One mention was referring to his as AI-Finalist. But that was all. Hopefully, things start moving soon! |

Trespassing was #1 for almost the entire Taylor Swift song, then Train moved to #1 for a few seconds before Trespassing moves back up to #1 before the end of the song, yet they play Train. Then the same thing happens with a John Mayer song that jumps to #1 for a few seconds, and they play that instead of Trespassing which was #1 for most of the Train song. I wonder if the DJ manipulates the plays. >:( |
