OT - in regards to the Kiev DVDs I made I need to apologize to a member of ATOP, just don't know which one. When I made the Kiev DVDs some generous recipients sent me money. Since it was appreciated but unnecessary, I paid the money forward by donating to charities. I then sent a pm to those who sent me the money to thank them and let them know what I did with it. Or at least I thought I pm'd them.
I was just deleting all the pms sent when I was making the DVDs and found one thank you that I sent to myself! I assumed I realized my error and sent another, so I deleted it without reading the name I addressed it to. But then I did not find another pm with the same thank you. So I fear there is one generous ATOPer that sent me money and never heard back from me.
If so, I apologize profusely. I did receive the $20 and used it to close out a project on Donor's Choose. Thank you for your kindness and thank you for helping me help the kids.

A couple of things I wanted to say about yesterday's conversation.  Re Adam's tweet about Spain: when I saw his tweet, I was as excited as if he would go there very soon. But then I wondered if he just tried to comfort the Spanish fans ?? what do you think? Comfort. Don't think there's a lot of demand from there tbh Oh, we know it was probably comfort. There are a lot of Glamberts in Spain, enough for Adam to maybe sell out a small venue or two... But the media coverage is nonexistent. Well, when Trespassing topped Billboard the most important conservative newspaper made a comment about how he was the first openly gay singer to top the American charts (yeah, it was ironically the conservative newspaper, lol). And when Adam performed with Queen at the EMA's, the Spanish Rolling Stone dissed him.  I set them straight on Facebook, though. The fact that no one answered me doesn't really matter, does it? lolBut it was so sweet of him to actually answer to the trend. I know it will be very difficult for him to come here, and I intend to go see him as soon as he gets near enough anyway, but we can hope. Maybe he changed his mind during the negotiations ??? Maybe they didn't let him to be his honest himself ??? Sauli didn't mention AI, but he did talk about the fake in American reality TV shows and how they give judges different roles to play. If Sauli has inside info about how the American reality TV shows work, maybe he shouldn't have said anything? :-/ It could be detrimental for Adam, especially because I think it's in his benefit to be on good terms with Idol/Fox. If he was talking hypothetically, then I guess that's fine. lol EDIT: Wanted to add something. lol |
