I'll prob never stop worrying. Think I've just given in to that. lol. But, I do try to think in baby steps and be proud that this event is taking place at all and Adam exists in our world to be there. The DC metro area is fairly liberal and definitely has a gay community. I know a lot of glamberts (straight women) are going of course but would so love to see members of the gay community fill up the rest of the club. You're right - the album is a love note. I still have hope it and his future albums will touch more in his own community.  Don't worry .. be Happy.. We have the best looking greatest singer in the universe to love. Aw, thanks. ;D Hmm, I never noticed his looks before. Wow, he's hot.  |

I have no idea what happened here while I was busy today, but it is a tragedy to have lost nationalglampoon. If you dont know how much, just check out the vocal masterclass thread....Dont know who else left today....
The news only requirements have left us with fewer people bringing in opinions thus the repetetiveness glares. We are left with no news to discuss other than AI. But look how soothing posting the old pictures has been. I miss the days when reimer spammed us with pretty. It gave us something to celebrate and bring us together, and allowed everyone to find something to appreciate here. Sometimes it's not the "news" that we need but just being together shooting the shit.
A lot of members have taken a backseat or left over the recent months. Those that are tired of scrolling thru differing opinions and also those who fear differing opinions are unwelcome. As Adam was quoted today, segregation is boring and I hope everyone can remember what we have in common. Not everything in common, but enough.
As always, IMHO.

I used green because when Q3 does it she seems so smart and authoritative and I wanted to feel that way for at least a second...just before I got carted off to jail for trespassing. Ha! Please don't ban me. I swear I'll never trespass again. |

[laughs] Just so you all know, $175 is an INSANE price for the 9:30 Club. Tickets rarely sell for more than $30. Its dark. Pretty much standing room only. There's food, but its hard to get to. Plus, peeps in Washington WORK during the week. Its a city of workaholics. Tuesday night has got to be one of the weirdest nights for a benefit ever. [shrugs] DC ain't LA. I don't know anyone who goes out on a Tuesday....unless its to another meeting. ;D Silly Hoppers. You know me and I go out Tuesday nights. Oh, wait, no I don't. ;D BUT, I am going out THIS coming Tuesday night...wish you could come. Will miss my concert buddy.  Trust me. I would ***so*** rather be at the 9:30 with you than holed up in some stupid hotel in another part of the country. Miss you too. {{HUGS}} I swear, if there's any damn way this idiot meeting wraps up early, I'll switch my flight and see if I can get to 9:30 before the end of the night. I mean, I am bored rigid by all the AI dissection ad infinitum, but do love me a 'splish splash' play in the shallow end from time to time. There should be room for all here. Scroll is yer friend. Endless discussions about the same thing day after day, get boring to be honest, especially when it seems to be nothing but angsting and ~concern for Adam's career. I would love to see the fun and laughter return, along with pictures of the pretty dotted throughout the thread to keep us entertained.
