IMO, this 9:30 Club gig is a benefit for a charity. For the marriage equality vote in Maryland. Adam was added to help draw people in, but the draw really should be the charity. The ticket price is not a price for Adam or for the 9:30 club. The fact that tickets are usually $30 there is irrelevant. It really has nothing to do with this gig. If this political group can't sell 1,000 tickets to support their cause, then I'd say their cause is in trouble. My goodness, people in a politically charged atmosphere like DC in a Presidential election year can't go out on a Tuesday to support a cause like this? :dunno:
(Also, the gig was announced just one week in advance with tickets having all of 5 days to sell! Weird!)
