HAHA... I remember when this photo first surfaced. We all unffed for days about it. And all Adam is doing is standing talking to someone at a wedding #wearepathetic
I have literally spent the last ten minutes studiously trying to figure out unffed and your hash tag. unfed? I'm a burrito, trust me, I'm not unfed! and wear epathetic? I wear a tortilla. What the hell is an epathetic? You're going to try to explain it, to penetrate the tortilla and get into my brown matter aren't you? Good luck! [pulls up corner of tortilla and whispers] I think "unffed" is some sort of alien acronym for UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE. [pats edge of tortilla back down, glues with refried beans] Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure. ;D Burritos don't have to worry about the other part. Doesn't apply to food items.

OT again. Fiona Apple concert at Winstar. The exact same venue daughter and I saw Adam, but a world of difference. latest text. "This is so raw. Her. She is so exposed. I don't know what I mean. She is rocking her songs but so unstable and it's like any minute she will crash."
When we saw Adam we were brought to a joyous high that lasted for days. Be thankful Glamberts.

[/IMG] (Also, the gig was announced just one week in advance with tickets having all of 5 days to sell! Weird!)[/quote] [sips mojito] Oh, the political folk will go out for fundraisers, but the 9:30 Club isn't the usual scene (actually never heard of it as a fundraising venue before). The tickets are too pricey for the regulars. And there hardly enough time for local activists to change schedules for a middle-of-the-week show with less than a week's warning. Its actually pretty unfair for the target audience, if the target audience is young to mid-life professionals, who have tight schedules and (often enough) kids. Younger folk can't afford the tix. Older folk aren't gonna be interested in a standing-only situation. [shrugs] The whole thing is quite odd. If they *really* wanted to have a proper DC fundraiser, they should have rented out the Kennedy Center or Ford's Theater, sold tickets for $50/$250/$1000, had a cocktail hour before hand, and told everyone about it at least a month ahead of time. [/quote] That makes a lot of sense, coming from one gulping, oh I see sipping mojitos. I for one have gulped them down. To hell with my beta blocker tonite.

*gently steers wobbly burrito to a chair*
*takes previously offered drink out of her hand*
lolololololol..... OK, I probably screwed up the unf bit. Maybe it should have been unf'ed instead. Is that more clearerer dear burrito?
Now, to the hash tag. ROTFLMAO here, because I know how many times I have read long hash tags and have run the wrong letters together to try and make words out of them.
So.... will break this one down for you bb =====>>> We.Are.Pathetic

Gurl, you will be amazed what Washingtonians will show up for if there's "classy" liquor involved.

Okay, I actually chuckled audibly. Loud enough to make my dog, 3:30 perk up. Thanks, I needed that.

I was thinking about getting Gaga tickets for her concert here next January but all that's left after a couple days of sale are tickets that cost $200 plus fees and that's for back of the arena.
I decided that I just didn't want to pay that much, when I could have seen Adam for much less in a small venue - unfortunately, I just cannot go to DC because I already had a trip with family planned next week :(.
But I think $125 is pretty cheap to see Adam for a full concert in a smallish venue - I have paid more for larger venues and happily. I'm surprised there aren't more glamberts willing to spend this for a great cause, even if it is short notice. Didn't his 9:30 Club glam nation show sell out pretty quick? It's going to be pretty expensive to get the whole band cross country, and seems like this is the only event?

Peeps are gonna be missing a really great show and a great opportunity to support this really needed cause.
