I would hope that all viewpoints are welcome here. I guess I am a more serious person, and a board that consists of all fluff and crotchshots wouldn't interest me at all. I love deep discussions and varied viewpoints. I love this board because it consists of mature insights along with levity and the pretty. So I hope I belong here as well as those who want only the lighthearted banter and the "apple pie." Agreed. And if some of the deep discussions and most of the apple pie are not of interest to me, I scroll. There are many people who used to post on PF and Atop who have disappeared over the years for various reasons--it's not just recently. People come and go, change their level of intense stanning, or get upset at something. I remember lots of angst over the years and deep discussions--it hasn't ever been all squeeing and silliness. There was plenty of angsting about how slowly WWFM was going up the charts, gates, etc. I, personally, don't have a problem with people needing to discuss certain topics--we all process things differently. For some of us this is may be the only outlet for these topics. It's all okay. I'll be hanging around here. |
