actually it doesn't take what he says out of context.... headline: Adam Lambert, Marriage Equality Fundraiser: Singer Talks 'Shame and Guilt' of LGBT Communitythen within the article he says this: " If this is something we can get passed, what we're doing for the next generation is lifting a ton of shame and guilt and secrecy off of the LGBT community. The clichés attached to the gay community were born out of shame and secrecy, and if we can get rid of those things, we'll end up with a lot more happy, normalized gay and lesbian kids." He's absolutely right... marriage equality will go a long way towards lifting the shame and guilt the LGBT community feels. Grammar experts (and I know ATop has many) should that be "passed" or "past?" I thought "past" but then I thought, "Surely a paid journalist knows which word is correct?" :-/ Mys*&@^#r, in this case I think "something we can get passed" refers to passing marriage equality via the election. If speaking about psychological issues one is trying to move beyond, it would be "get past." peace&love

Do you mean the tiny person with that hat? Because I think that's Ashley...I don't think Isaac is in DC, but the buddha-drummer [runsbacktoccheckpics] and vid ETA: awwww you are right!!!! f.... should've watched on a larger screen before. Was fooled by the hat bc that is something Isaac would wear. Well, all bets open again on this one, ..... I guess I will set my alarm for 3am after all. Before I was content to watch all your reactions and YTs at 6am .... but new hair AND new drummer .... Thanks for the answers! I like Isaac too... I hope he can play very soonnnnnnnnn again with Adam & Glamily! But I think this new guy Rick is good

It has launched many songs, Gotye is the one that first comes to mind. The song was virtually unknown before Glee! I would guess that the Criss song will be out of the BB 100 next week. BB is a combination of sales and radio spins by some formula that is known only to them. In the case of this song, I'd guess it is mostly sales that got it there. Thanks

Teddybear. If Adam went on Glee, or they did a Trespassing episode and did 3 songs, like when they did Britney or Gaga. Adam's sales would soar digitally, and so would the radio requesting, and more air play. He needs Glee, Saturday Night Live. he has PLL coming up, so that would be good. needs to get the other 2 for target demographics.

Grammar experts (and I know ATop has many) should that be "passed" or "past?" I thought "past" but then I thought, "Surely a paid journalist knows which word is correct?" :-/ I think he means "passed" as getting an marriage equality bill passed. But it *could* read as "we can get past this [bigotry]" too. I just think he *does* mean passed in this case. I *am* a grammar expert, and make my living as one, but I choose to be off-the-clock when I'm posting. I tried to correct and proofread my own messages and it lasted for about two of them, lol. Ruins the flow and much prefer stream-of-conscious in posts (even if I sometimes regret them later :-/). So, IOW, I'm a grammar expert, but not a grammar stickler. I love "creative" spelling! I never correct someone's grammar unless someone asks me to--and it honest doesn't even bug me when I see it. And I'm not correcting my own. I would get way to obsessive if I did (and not in a good Adam-y way) and it would drive me bats! There is something to be said for language evolution, intentional misspellings in electronic communication (as in all those in cats in macros), shortened word forms in texts, etc., and even improper grammar when it makes more sense than the proper grammar rules. So yay for creative spelling! :D ETA: Crap! I did have to fix some of my spellings. Oh well, carry on.
