Why do I let myself get suckered into watching other people (trying to) sing covers of Adam's songs? I should know better by now. Yes, to whoever asked about pitch. It is all over the place. As for the rest? She is cute. She has energy. Her English pronunciation is good. I thought so. I know you guys know a lot about singing, so I didn't want to say it too loud. lol I know music, but I'm an instrumentalist. I know next to nothing of vocal theory. And... Henry Van Dyke - "Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best." It would be tough for anyone to sing a song better than Adam sings it. Doesn't matter. Sing it anyway. I didn't mean to sound like a snob or inhibit anyone. When folks post a video here not of Adam, but of something Adam has sung, it is usually to ask what others think of the singer or the performance. Since I have some musical and vocal training, I would respond with what I hear based on that. However, I have gotten myself into trouble several times for finding fault or being too harsh or not hearing what others are hearing. I had vowed to only respond to inquiries and vids on the masterclass site, but, I forgot and posted here. Oops. Carry on and enjoy making a joyful noise! |
