One of my favorite "truisms" is, "You cannot waken a person pretending to be asleep." In other words, if the person is determined to keep their opinion on something, evidence, facts and rational discourse, no matter how overwhelming, will not sway them. Perhaps the only response is, "I'm so sorry. It must suck to be you."  I'm gonna end up saying something like that. lol I think I'm going to tell him to stop the conversation, since we will not get anywhere with it. I'm gonna be like this:  Cool. Welcome to Atop Labs.  Now that we know the formula we can make as many as we want.   There was a play, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt casting, about gay people. I can't remember exactly but it says there have been a lot of research and experiments on gay people and the conclusion is gay are humans just like straight, no therapy, no medication, no intervention can change that. Unfortunatly, I can't remember the name and I don't know where to find it. If some one can find it, you should ask your friend to watch it before he can discuss this topic. If he refuses to watch it, tell him he doesn't have enough knowledge to talk to you about this. I'd love to know the name too. Sounds very interesting. He means the ones who have very feminine voices and feminine gestures. Tell him there are straight guys with feminine gestures and voices too. And that gay people have the whole spectrum too. There's no typical, like there's no typical straight guy.  |

Soaked, pretty sure you are thinking of the re-enactment of the Prop 8 trial in California. It is spellbinding. I'm sure it is on-line somewhere.
