Honestly, why is it that Adam is perceived so differently in China, Japan, etc.? Ever since seeing that airport video I have been wondering. It also brings to mind that mall stop he made in Finland where tons of young fans were lined up to see him. Why is he perceived so differently in these countries compared to the US? Is it that there is no reality show stigma? Or is it that they don't have radio DJs dictating who is "cool?" Is it a voice/sound thing? Why is it that he is too often the butt of jokes in this country, but is considered cool and hip in these other places??? He deserves to be taken seriousy. He has earned it.
I reckon that Adam hasn't made it to the same league as Katy Perry or Gaga in the music biz, but "often the butt of jokes in this country"???? or are you referring to those gay jokes which dished out by certain on-TV-personality and a couple of "biased" publications once in a while? From what I can see, the media, at large, respects him and his talent.  Adam is very popular here in America and around the world. The comment sections, in periodicals in United States are filled with put downs and nasties about practically anyone who is in the limelight. Actually compared to some,Adam gets a great deal of praise and respect. Why do you think some like Miley, have shut down their twitter accounts,many just give up, because of the negativity. It's easy to say nasty things when no one knows who you are.Some folks in America just have no manners and no brains.. Just saying. IMHO,Adam is a world wide super star , At this point and time, he's the best male pop singer /entertainer on the planet. |
