That's amazing and VERY IMPRESSIVE! On the search engine, every 30 second people searching his name, compare to Gaga who has people searching her name every 15 second. While on Twitter people mentioned Adam's name every 16 second.

Jumping into thread way ahead of where I'm actually at, but...
New Zealand entered Daylight Savings Time over night, so Liam's show is ONE HOUR EARLIER than normal. Starts in five minutes ;D
RT @liammcewan: The #AdamLambertHour begins in 5 minutes time! theflea.co.nz

.....looking forward to some international adventures! Anyone else having a problem spelling Trespassing/Tresspassing? I'm adding to my list....Vacuum/Vaccum; Sisscors/Sicssors (can't spell this word right in any way, shape or form) AND the Trespassing clap still eludes me.... You could definetly be me. I need someone to write a rule for it as I usually have to substitute another word. And that clap is not natural. For anyone starting at the end of the thread, many many goodies today if you start from the beginning. We wanted Adam in stadiums and this one has 80,000 capacity. Doesn't look like the guy he's dueting with made it to the top 4. And this is the first season for the Voice/China isn't it?

I am not a specialist when it comes to Asian culture, but h ere is what I think. I believe Chinese and Japanese audiences generally value talent and skills acquired via hard training differently. My belief is that Western society has come to a point where people become famous without being good at anything and without spending any time to learn skills, while the average population dislikes the feeling they get from being exposed to people who are better than them in anything. There are of course exceptions (many of them represented on ATOP ), but I am talking about the general tendency. In Asian tradition, acquiring skills in martial arts, yoga or even learning to read and write required many YEARS of hard training. Or look at Chinese Olympic athletes or even Chinese circus... Years and years to reach perfection. So I suspect the average person has a slightly different attitude towards vocal perfection like AFL. Also I have the feeling Adam looks a lot like a Manga character, so he might be fulfilling other fantasies just with his looks...Of course, I could be totally wrong, but this is my gut feeling.
You're not wrong, actually pretty much right on the money!
I can only speak from a Chinese's point of view, but other Asian cultures (e.g. Japanese) do share some similarities with ours. Yes, we value and admire people with extraordinary talent, ability and achievement, which is why education and hard-working are so highly esteemed in the Chinese society. In just about every single article that I've read about Adam from China, it's always about his voice and his showmanship (yes, Chinese love dramatics and theatrics). They often refer to him as the "music prodigy", the voice of "Rock God", or the voice of our generation, etc. Of course, his exotic and gorgeous looks are the icing on the cake. ;D I think Adam is more and more famous of his Amazing Vocal ability and talent every where around the world now.. When he was in Japan couple months ago they also called him the same. I'm so happy that people recognized his talent more than his sexuality or the fact that he is from Idol.
