Guess he didn't notice it sounds almost exactly like The Police's "Message in a Bottle!" : But it's completely different, just sounds Police-y cause it's a Sting-y voice backed by a clean guitar Well, to someone without your musical expertise (like me,) the intro, the instrumentation, sounds almost exactly the same!

But I guess it doesn't really matter in the scheme of things. If, as Adam tweeted, it shakes up the playlist on radio a bit, that would be a good thing.

I dutifully listened to the new Bruno Mars song. I really liked the intro and verses but found the chorus to be a total dud. Boring melody, uncatchy lyrics. Wha happen, Luuucy? It was a winner until the chorus.

I don't see how. Different chords, different guitar phrasing, different melody. YMMV I guess

Radio will add Bruno to their playlist immediately. It won't mean diddly squat for anyone else.

Virgin radio Toronto is playing Pump it or Dump it with Bruno's song. I saw they retwitted a lot of Pump It. They haven't played Trespassing yet. Don't know when they will. Last time NCOE got like 99% Pump It. They said it was a "record", but then they never played it again.

Is it my imagination but is this song winning by higher margins than past Adam singles?
