I watched Jimi Hendrix play our National Anthem. Wait ... wut? I agree with everything you said and sorry to edit, but I did a double-take at this. You saw this LIVE???!! Sorry, Junkets. I was not at Woodstock. I watched the tapes from the event on the news - as it happened. I only saw Jimi Hendrix in Monterey.

I watched the tapes from the event on the news - as it happened. I only saw Jimi Hendrix in Monterey. But you saw it live on TV? Holy crap! That is the most profound performance I have ever seen. I'm sure you've seen his interview on Dick Cavett where Cavett mentions the anti-American criticism of besmirching the NA, and Hendrix said, "I thought it was beautiful"--to wild applause from the audience. And you saw Jimi at Monterey?!? Holy hell! That's even better!! Sorry, Q3. Couldn't help myself. Let me tie Adam into this. His much-derided black fringe poncho could actually be viewed a nod to Hendrix's white fringe jacket at Woodstock ETA: What??!!! You did, Q3? I heard he had opened for the Monkees. Ok, folks, let's all bow down to our onsite experts. THEY know talent and have seen it first-hand. Adam is totally in the league of the greats. ETA: Edited to fix spelling of "Jimi." I knew Jimmie didn't seem right and knew it wasn't Jimmy. If this were a Hendrix fan site I would've been derided as quickly as a Freddie Mercury newbie was castigated for spelling it Freddy.

This is very touching I remembered why I want to live - Joseph's story: (video) www.indiegogo.com/friendproject"My idol is Adam Lambert. He is not ashemed who he is and he inspires me to just take pride and being gay."

Thank you Q3, I love Brian too and appreciate him a lot. Not going to answer the rest of dialogue, due to Q3's request, which I fully understand at this point.
