Hey, adamuse. I know you were just kidding around, but your post made me wonder what, for real, are the most censored countries in the world. Because I think we get frustrated and take our freedoms for granted, even as we push to expand them. I hope this is not too OT. If so, if mods could let me know I will move it to the Moon Garden. The Freedom House www.freedomhouse.org/ is an independent watchdog that monitors free speech issues around the world. According to them, the most censored countries in the world are: North Korea (I was shocked to see that even a private citizen being caught watching or listening to a foreign broadcast is subject to punishments including forced labor and the death penalty.) Burma (Myanmar) Turkmenistan Eritrea Libya Cuba Belarus Uzbekistan Equatorial Guinea Iran Freedom Watch assigns a number from 1-100 based on the degree of repression of freedom of expression. North Korea got a 99 and Iran has an 89. The Internet freedom report just came out, and the most repressive countries for Internet censorship were a little different; some of the countries on the first list are not technologically advanced enough that Internet is an issue. Iran Cuba China Syria Uzbekistan Burma/Myanmar Vietnam Bahrain Saudi Arabia The United States is ranked FREE on both reports, with little to no censorship. Only 14% of the world's countries were rated FREE. Our score was 18. Our score on Internet freedom was 12. The primary issue was copyright. Pretty interesting, I thought. It points up the difference between pandering in the U.S., and actual censorship faced by the majority of the world's people. :(

God I just LOVE this picture. I have always been a bit obsessed with the belts and belt buckles Adam style. I have been missing them massively with his new fashion choices. Glad to get a peek. I gotta study the construction of this piece, the rings and what is that glimmer of silver (zipper?)? Adam knows how to get to this girl.

Could not find internet data of Finland, but press freedom score was 10, kudos to my coutrymen. We all have responsibility to speak for those who cannot, and support where we can.

Recently, I read a report about the type of music HAC selects for their playlists. (wish I could find it now) The report stated that HAC stations know that a large part of their audience is Moms with kids in their car. Their surveys have shown that these mothers will change the radio channel if a song is coming on that has curse words in it. In other words, stations censor due to the fact that Moms will change to another station to avoid songs with curse words.
