You also got to work with Adam Lambert on the episode. That must have been sweet. It was awesome! He’s so cool. I’m not that into American Idol, but he was so nice, and his performance was so sick. He had to do it like six to eight times. He was in full costume and it was so hot in the train, but he was such a good sport about it. I’m definitely an Adam Lambert fan. I believe they call themselves “Glamberts.” That’s awesome.

Just want to say that NZ fans are awesome. 10 of them went to the airport early in the morning to make Adam feel welcome, that's great considering the timing and the small population of the country. Wow!!!!! That was so cool!!!! We were waiting for him to come out and not sure which flight he was on, but then someone (his driver?) from Sony saw us and somehow worked out we were waiting for Adam.. ;D He came over and told us that he'd spoken to Adam and that he'd be out in about 15 mins... that he was happy to come and see us... but we had to stay on this side of the barrier! and that if we were silly he'd cart Adam away!! :4OMG: As if!!!! We told him we would be considerate and behave!! LMAO! Then we waited and waited... and then HE WALKED TOWARDS US!!!!!! Wearing hat & cap & stubble!! (you've seen the pics) There is a great video of him signing and talking to us - the girl who recorded it will upload later today/tonight. Told him we were his NZGlitterTribe and he said YAY!! LOL Then my friend Trudy (the one getting her arm signed for a tattoo) asked him if he'd read our messages and the scrapbook we gave him in Sydney.. he said "of course!!!"  He was sooo sweet!!!!! 5 of the people there had never seen him up close or met him before, but even for those of us who had it was still fantastic.  I said to him I hope he has time to get to his hotel and have a sleep before this afternoon and he said "that's the plan"  So I hope he does get some rest! And we get to see/speak to him again in a few hours!!!  |
