Duct tape is generally silver or black but also available in other colors. In 1942 Revolite, then a division of Johnson & Johnson, originally developed an adhesive tape made from a rubber-based adhesive applied to a durable duck cloth backing. Maggy @maggy_97 @shoshannastone Sony Music Germany just told me 'Trespassing' will not go to radio stations over here. Do you know the reason for this?shoshanna stone @shoshannastone @maggy_97 that's not the case. They will follow a US hit. So not yet.  Sigh. This is a tad tiresome. I just wish other countries could THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!!! (and, yes, I'm lookin' at Canada, too) >:(   |

Okay, so today I did something really Tweeny -- I loaded all the text request numbers into my phone and sent them off. There were about 50 of them. Fortunately, my text messages have a header for 20 numbers so it was really only 3 text messages. All of them went! All of them got replies! Only one came back asking for name, age and location. I just ignored that one.
Most interesting to me is that some came back saying something like, "thanks for texting your request to Joe the afternoon DJ, blah, blah, blah." So, I'm thinking that I could actually text every 4 to 6 hours or so and a new DJ would get the text.
Also, a few came back asking for another text in about an hour because each hour they play the song that got the most text requests. I know I'm not going to text every hour but I honestly don't think that text requests are frowned upon.
So, this is my plan -- media base requests on Tuesday's and Thursdays, twitter requests daily, text requests daily. The only requests that I'm doing non-local are the texts. The rest are already added and local media base and the tweets are local.
Also, since Trespassing was only released to stations on the 8th (right?), why were we expecting adds yesterday? Just wondering.
eta: Glamberts seem really adept at on-line contests and polls, I'm suprised to read about the low request count. It's not as easy as just clicking but I think the effort is more important. And, let me just say that I hate radio but it seems important to Mr. Lambert.

Haven't had a chance to post but I've been reading the threads. Glad I missed the Trespassing add drama. Adam has done some amazing things lately...QUEEN, PLL, The VoiceChina, and The Rove Show!! I'm not letting #*&%#@ US radio upset me. And I thought Adam's appearance on PLL was good. He'll be singing Trespassing and Cuckoo and lots of young teens will be watching and he'll be gaining more fans!! I'm excited!!
Adam is traveling the world getting to perform his music to people who appreciate and love his music and watching him perform LIVE!! And....he is planning his Tour. I don't care if he plays to audience the size he had on the GNT or bigger arena type places. I just care that I will get to experience AFL again taking us to a different place....I can hardly wait!
So glad Liam and Aidan get to meet Adam in person. How exciting is that for them. I hope they let Adam know they won the Trespassing contest and about the radio show!! So excited for them.
NZ Atopers I love that you are getting to meet Adam. Please keep reporting back to us! :Clap:
