I am confused about the EP vs the single... I thought that it is very important to have the single sales numbers to be as high as possible cause otherwise radio would not play the said single... now I am seeing that we should be pushing the EP... but how will the EP charting help with the radio play????? Please, people, explain.... thanks Yes, sales of Trespassing matter to radio and will influence airplay. But fans can't buy enough copies of Trespassing to get it to chart. It would take 100,000+ units in a week to matter. And sometimes that is not enough. Look at what happened with Fun's "We Are Young". PDs rejected it. Then it got featured in a SuperBowl commercial. But fans can buy enough to get Trespassing EP on the BB album chart as a new album. And that can help generate buzz, press and some second looks at the album, these amazing dance tracks and at Trespassing. Aside from requesting and playing all these radio games it is the only thing I can come up with. ETA: Trespassing clearly is not getting a full promo budget. Adam is wise to hold off spending money on it unless it proves itself to be able to generate some royalties.

Honestly, the music video situation makes a lot of sense. If you spend the money (and take the time) to do it you want to be sure it will get played by VH1 and MTV. The first two were ignored, and it was really frustrating.

Does anyone really pays attention to a number 99? or 54? or 25? It is quite obvious that THE SINGLE is what really matters. And if we think that there is no way for it to get any significant sales numbers then we are not even in a catch 22 anymore... we are pretty much done then...of course we have that cool car driving around to watch - ain't that fun? ;D I will be doing both - the singles on iTunes and EP on Amazon...I will download any gifts as long they keep coming... but I DO WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE REASONING... and so far all the explanations make no real sense to me...

Wouldn't it be much simpler if we could talk to Adam's team or if Adam's team could talk to us via AO or ALF and explain what are the priorities / best strategy to help Adam with this EP release? I do not understand why there is no dialogue between his team and the fans....
