OMG... I have a whole lot of very important things to do today, and here I am, watching and listening to everything Adam's been doing while I was asleep.

Gonna stop watching for now. I have to study 146 pages of Traumatology from now (9:25 AM) to 2:00 PM. I just wanted to say that:  Seriously. He's amazing. Sometimes I'm amazed I didn't know him before this summer (even though I knew he existed). He's so special, and talented, and funny, and kind, and smart. :wub: :wub: :wub:  See ya all later!!!! |

Now they've doubled the number of pages, and we still have 4 months to go. And I'm not even counting the 230 multiple choice test questions we have to answer daily. What a nightmare...  Oh well... I will survive.  I think. |

I don't know about anyone else. But I think the reason for the new remix ep is to boost sales of the Trespassing SINGLE. RCA could have just released the radio edit as a single (to enable fans who already had the album to buy it again). But this ep allows for 4 times the sales of the single so the SONG would have impact it's first week of sales. (RCA did a remix release in the past to re-energize
sales of WWFM.)
I don't believe radio programmers are going to be looking at first week sales of the remix album to decide whether to add TRESPASSING the single to their playlists. If that had been the case, then the album debuting as #1 back in May should have ensured that NCOE got adds at Z100 and the other top 40 giants. NCOE the single didn't have sales because fans were buying albums (and I believe RCA was giving away NCOE downloads as a bonus).
I know a lot of fans have given this launch strategy considerable thought. But I am going to be buying all four versions of the SINGLE. I will buy the physical remix cd at some later time.

Phew... Adam must be exhausted!!! It is 6pm here - he was up at 5am.... We think he has one more appearance at More FM after 7pm tonight... not confirmed tho - am listening to the station now to see if anything is said! ETA: More FM is confirmed - just heard it! Show goes from 7pm - midnight so not sure what time... maybe early or maybe later after he's eaten / had a nap??!!! Just found out that this was pre-recorded this afternoon! Thank goodness for that.... he had such a full on day as it was, I'm actually relieved!!! We had such fun following him around this morning from radio station to radio station, then to the TV station.... he was so smiley and friendly (of course!!!) I LOVE what he said several times today about how the fans have made friends with each other! I SO wanted to tell him about that at the signing, but it was so quick and I asked a question instead.... Off to bed shortly - cos of 2 early morning airport runs I have had a combined total of about 6-7 hour sleep the last 2 nights! Need to be recovered so I can enjoy MELBOURNE!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST Adam week since GlamNation, and in a lot of ways better (well maybe just different....) The adventure continues on Saturday night - can't wait to see his full show!!!! |
