I loved the band he had in England, I totally, of course, loved him with Queen.. so I like the diversity. Diversity a word I really adopted full force from Adam.. LOL |

I found Adam's unfiltered interview very revealing. We knew RCA didn't know how to handle Adam, but they certainly are not thinking out of the box, and certainly way too conservative for Adam.
But I find this so interesting, given some of the artists on their label. They receive a great deal of latitude, and some of the songs and lyrics are highly questionable, but RCA releases albums and singles that certainly don't fit the mold. Prime example is Kesha, Usher and Britney. Please don't say they are proven artists, with lots of record and album sales. It is something else.
So what is different for Adam??

Adam has so much more depth,I don't think the label knows how deep to let Adam go.He's really not fluff ,even his dancy songs are deeper than the names you mentioned. I don't think RCA is afraid of sex as much as they are afraid of intelligence . Adam's songs make people think,yearn for changes, hunger for equality.He is challenging society. That can be scary .He dares not to conform,when The U.S. has become so bland,even the sexual stuff isn't terribly innovative with all the half naked female singers. Adam is sexy not only because of his looks but because of his brain.. |
