Maybe all of you guys should change the strategy and click on "complete the album"? lol If you can't beat them, join them.  No, that takes away the single sales. Ooops... Then don't join them.  |

I say "No." Trespassing album making #1 did nothing to impress radio. The single needs the sales and with PLL kicking in next week, IMO, we need to stick with the single. If the EP is moving up on its own, then why switch anyway. Thanks! I'll stick with the singles. Also, even though the single is not at the # placement of the album it is probably at least double the sales of the album right now. Why? Because there is more competition with singles on i-tunes. It is the only place to get singles (basically.) The EP has 3 places it is being purchased from. I have no doubt the album will make BB Top 200 for this week. Besides, someone "Official" asked that we concentrate on the single. My bet is that someone was Shoshanna. She has been known to DM fans before with stuff she wanted done. Would not be surprised if that is how KMS got the "official word." |

Tech question: My keyboard all of a sudden has stopped typing 2 of anything. The sentence I just typed would look like this if I hadn't gone back and fixed it: "My keyboard al of a suden has stoped typing double actions." I can't even backspace 2x in a row. Any suggestions? It's ben a pain in the a typing trespasing!

That's an interesting question. I mean, if we can't get the single into the top 100 at least then what's the point of continuing this strategy. It is a lot easier to push an album up the chart. Also, I am beginning to think that the percentage of international fans making up this fanbase is a lot higher than I thought. Although, it really shouldn't be that surprising. ah, I totally forgot about PLL! It takes lots, lots of sales and much higher chart position to impress radio and I'm not sure the radio edit track would ever get there, but the original strategy (focus on the single) is well coordinated with next week's promo (PLL), so yeah, it's best to stick with it and give it the best chance possible.
bullsfan, IMO, I think US still has the largest core fan base but might not be well organized & mobilized as other countries, then it's always easier to manage when the numbers are smaller. |

So not the only place people buy tracks. The tracks are being sold on sites other than iTunes in the US, including #2 Amazon: www.amazon.com/Trespassing-EP/dp/B009PHG5J4/ref=sr_shvl_album_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350423179&sr=301-1 The proportion of digital tracks to albums sold is dramatic -- 12.2 tracks for every 1 digital album sold. Shoshanna confirmed which of the four Trespassing tracks fans sour buy. I think that is the only information fans have. |
