Public service announcement, if you gave your itunes email address to requestadam (or adamstorm) at some point please check your inbox and redeem all your download gifts. [/color] There are lot's of gifts that have been sent out but not redeemed/downloaded yet and they don't count as a sale until downloaded.[/size] Thanks

I gifted through iTunes the Pharell edit to 6 nieces/nephews and then I asked them in return to gift to at least one of their friends (more than one if possible), then ask the giftee to pass on the gifting, and so on and so on. Well, I just got an email from my nephew and he went ahead and gifted to 3 friends who promised to also pass on to at least one giftee. YAY - I hope the chain keeps going!
Love my family who totally gets me!

To check if you have any gifts that you haven't downloaded.. Go to your iTunes --> at the top of the computer screen, click on Store for pull down menu --> click on Check for Available Downloads. |

Apple has a record of everything you've ever bought. I know this because when our computer crashed 2 years ago, they restored all our music for us! |

So, after giving up hope that I would get anything from requestadam.com, I now received 10 emails for the radioedit from same person and I think this came from requestadam.com. It is my understanding that we should not download more than 7-8, to be sure that they don't get taken out by i-tunes.
Q1: Is this 7-8 per sender email address or 7-8 per day or 7-8 in total?
Q2: I d/l five of them and would like to forward the other 5 to somebody who is still waiting for copies. If you are in that situation (US only), please pm me an email address where you can receive copies. Thanks

I only received 1 gift of an EP, so maybe that was a mistake.. the rest have been the radio edit. Why get bent out of shape over either of the RCA accounts tweeting? Neither of them has a huge following and about the only purpose it serves is to placate fans. It's so meaningless that they were tweeting Kris Allen stuff literally as he was dropped or as we were finally being told he was dropped. There is little to no actual promotional value in either of those accounts tweets. Adam's tweets reach a hell of a lot more people and media picks his tweets up for news so as long as he tweets it everything's good. But it is just common courtesy to acknowledge one of your artists when he/she releases new music. |
