Please don't be sad. I've been waiting for someone to answer you. I don't really understand all of the details. Yesterday, Adam's EP album was released in the United States and many other countries. Adam's fans were and still are buying it from iTunes, Amazon, and Adam Official. Some are buying just the 4 Trespassing remixes from the 8 EP songs on iTunes, hoping to help the Trespassing song go higher on the charts. People are sending the iTune songs as gifts. Some people are receiving the extra iTune songs as gifts. Some people are giving money to help buy the iTune gifts. ************************** Most people are buying all 8 songs (the full EP album) from Amazon music downloads. ************************** You can buy an actual physical CD album from Adam Official. ************************** This is what I understand. Someone help correct my mistakes, please. This is a perfect answer. There is no centrally organized campaign, there are many separate fan efforts. So the question is hard to answer. There are two main efforts in the US: 1. Buy and gift the Trespassing radio single on iTunes to push it up the iTunes chart. This takes a huge volume of purchases and no fan group I can find has ever succeeded in moving a new track up to the top of the iTunes chart without a supporting promotion -- radio airplay and/or TV performance and/or TV commercial and/or other event. Adam fans are doing surprisingly well at this. 2. Buy and gift the Trespassing EP so it will chart on the Billboard 200. Other fans are buying all the Trespassing tracks. Right now, the best bet is to focus on the Trespassing EP this week so it debuts relatively high on the BB 200. Top 50 would be a stretch for a Remix EP but is possible.Should we go back to Itunes and complete the album?

Are Google Play purchases reported to Billboard? Yes, as long as the label adds the UPC/EAN numbers to the album and tracks, to report these numbers to Soundscan. RCA would certainly do that. All Soundscan rules apply, so free music does not count.

CAN we re-purchase the EP on AMAZON ? trash it and rebuy? WILL IT COUNT? What can we re-buy that will count?? You can gift the EP from iTunes or Amazon and it will count. Even it you bought the tracks on iTunes, you can still gift the EP. Whoever you gift it to, must download it. That is the best approach. ** You can get one copy of Trespassing Radio Edit from Amazon for free with this coupon. www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia/promotions/cp-anc-mp3/ref=tsm_1_tw_s_dm_mbozwi

Does the email that you gift to have to be a registered itunes account? I ask because I have several email addresses but only one that's registered to itunes....

All Soundscan rules apply, so free music does not count. This gives fans a new site to mine. It could make a real difference. I used it for the first time yesterday to buy the EP. Very simple and user friendly. During the PLL week, I plan to DL TDelux in case there is some positive movement for it from the show. Whatever, it will help the bottom line even if only infinitesimally.
