Does the email that you gift to have to be a registered itunes account? I ask because I have several email addresses but only one that's registered to itunes....[/quote]
I have 3 email accounts. I used the one that I have listed for itunes and bought the radio edit for me.
Then I gifted it to my other two email accounts.
I was able to download the two gifts and now I have 3 radio edits in my itunes library. I assume it would count, I don't think they care where you download it. Of course, don't know for sure, but it let me do it.

OT to song and EP and AZ - but I saw this book blurb this morning and my brain immediately went to you-know-who. I have really lost my mind -

Of course, don't know for sure, but it let me do it. No one except a few people at iTunes knows what iTunes counts. The ASSUMPTION is that they protect against fan power buying and you need to delete the old copy of a track before you download. The may not be true. Soundscan has rules about duplicate transactions but all I have been able to determine is that it is probably around 7 units that is classified as "not normal" and rejected. |
