Bring this over from the other news thread, Here is a report about the Arizona State Fair concert -- impressing #s for that show... @geezersgal Asked as we left we were told they sold 3K b4 that day 7k/8k where in house that it was their highest attnded show What's this mean? Does this mean that Adam has sold 3K tickets? Or they're told that Adam's show was the highest attended show and 7k/8k were in house last night. [/IMG]
3k people paid the fair entrance & bought the $20 reserved seating tickets. Another 4-5k people attended for just the price of the fair entrance.

Awesome Review from a casual music lover!!!This review is from a non-fan at MJs (NOT a BH hater) who is primarily a Cook fan, who lives in Phoenix and attended last night's concert. READ IT!!!!! Trust me on this!!!!Adam Lambert is more fabulous than llamas at the Arizona State Fair: emuisemo.com/?p=2257 OH, My GOD!!!!! This is the review to end all reviews. I have never read a review that describes Adam's music and it's impact like this. This girl really really got it! Bet we have a brand new Glambert on our hands. BRAVA!!!!! Must read, indeed. Thanks for posting! This review will go viral in Adamland in 3, 2, 1.....

As someone who plays over at MJ's sometimes, I was REALLY interested to read her review. Pretty amazing read. Adam is a powerful guy on so many different levels. And this proves that if he has the chance, and his music is heard, he can connect with new ears. I really do believe his time is coming. I need to be patient. It isn't going to be quick or easy, but I have to think he has a lot of support behind him. Adam and the label are navigating new waters. I guess the struggle will make it even sweeter in the end. I fixed the quote for you, bullsfan.

I want to add that I think Adam has major BALLS of STEEL for performing OOL at the Arizona State Fair. BRAVO, Adam!!!!!! And for using the other "F word". It was startling when he first did it at the Marriage Equality gig, but it worked in the setting. To hear it at a State Fair was ..... shocking and awesome at the same time. To me, this is Adam taking away the power from the haters. They use the "F word" as a crude and ugly insult. Adam, by proudly owning it with a wink and a giggle, takes the negative energy from it. It's similar to his CD notes where he thanks all those who have dissed him and told him "no." In the Canadian interview he said it was his way of saying the ultimate "F U."

I want to add that I think Adam has major BALLS of STEEL for performing OOL at the Arizona State Fair. BRAVO, Adam!!!!!! I do not think performing OOL in Phoenix, AZ is much of a big deal.* Arizona is a very pro-gay marriage state: "77% of Arizona voters believe gay couples should either be allowed to marry or form civil unions. And support isn’t just limited to liberal voters—in addition to 94% support from Democrats, 63% of Republicans and 83% of independents back gay marriages or civil unions." www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/05/arizona-voters-overwhelmingly-back-gay-rights.html * Except for how beautiful it was. ETA: Perhaps I missed the point -- is it because it was at the Fair?
