Well, I was sending tweets to the radio stations that have added Trespassing....one of them blocked me and then, I guess, a few more as I can't tweet at the moment. You know, I don't think 20 tweets a day (just one to each station) should warrant that kind of response. F**k Radio, seriously.

No one knows what they count as a new view -- Google/YouTube keeps it secret. Based on testing some YT watchers have determined that replays do not count. I have not tested this. I probably didn't make myself very clear. I don't press the replay arrow. I press the search feature, which takes me to the whole list of choices and I then choose the vevo version again. If it doesn't count, at least I don't wind up listening to David Archuletta... he's fine - just prefer Adam! Your post was fine. My post was not clear. It is hard to fool YT and they have a formula (algorithm) to eliminated spamming. In March 2011, they changed the rules to only count views from Google, YouTube, Facebook and other approved sites, but they do not count any direct, redirected, framed or embedded traffic sources. And the constantly work to eliminate artificial inflation of view count. This is from the YouTube Q&A: At YouTube, we try to maintain a positive user experience and be fair to both partners and advertisers by algorithmically validating views of all videos. This means that if views from a video are considered artificially inflated -- whether as a result of spam, malware bots and other suspicious or non-user initiated actions -- the video and/or channel may be suspended.
Recently, we’ve seen a rise in creative agencies and vendors that claim to increase subscribers and/or views while complying with the YouTube Terms of Service. For most of these companies, those claims are false; the purchase or gaming of subscribers, views or any other channel feature is a violation of our Terms of Service. If detected, it may have the opposite effect and hurt your campaign, because the behavior could result in the suspension of your account.
Remember that not every video playback counts as a view. Playbacks that do not begin with a click on the native YouTube player typically do not count as a ‘view’ because user-initiated clicks are more representative of the kind of interaction the viewcount is intended to measure. ....
YouTube employs proprietary technology to prevent the artificial inflation of a video’s viewcount by spam bots, malware and other means. We validate views to ensure the accuracy of the viewcount of all videos beginning with the first view.
This validation process becomes publicly visible when the viewcount reaches 300. At this point, the viewcount may slow or temporarily freeze until we have time to verify that all further views are legitimate. Learn more what this means in this videos.
So you have to initiate the play with a mouseclick -- and what you propose does that. But it is so easy to use IP address to identify spamming, I find it hard to believe this are no limits of multiple play by the same user being counted.

If you Tweet the same tweet 10 or 20 times and just change the @ name, it is a violation of Twitter Terms of service. If your account was frozen, that was done by Twitter, not a radio station.

I know that Sioux Falls blocked me. And, I change the tweets. It's not the same. Maybe I don't change them around enough.
