I'm very pleased to report that my local HAC station is playing Trespassing consistently 2-4 times a day. It's either a result of my limited requesting (once a day, max, and from one of my four different twitter/text/email identities (lol!)...or real listeners are actually requesting it too! Either way... Yay!! *\o/* GOOD JOB!!!! |

I got a new phone last week with a touch screen. I can not type on it at all. This morning I ordered a new phone with a touch screen AND a slide out keyboard. Anyway, my son & I have been laughing about autocorrect. I emailed your story to him:
Have been diligently texting radio stations to play Trespassing. I try to vary each one a little bit from day to day. I am getting good at it and doing it so fast that I sometimes do not bother to check and just hit send. Imagine my dismay when I found out that autocorrect has changed my message to:
Please play Tresspassong by Adam Lambert. Great dong! (autocorrect changed Trespassing to Trespassong - guess that works too but great dong? ) Well, I suppose with Adam, that is factually correct !!!! :redface: :redface: :redface:

The digital download from AO.com is a bonus and you can download it or not. The only place that has the CD is AO.com and that will be shipped in November.
I'm only on p. 5 so this may have been answered. If so ignore this post -
Why do you think AO is waiting to ship the physical cd until Nov? Wouldn't it have been more advantageous to Adam to have it count in first week sales?
Also - why would they offer a free DL? Couldn't that discourage ppl from actually BUYING on iTunes or Amazon?
I could be misunderstanding all this but it seems like they made poor choices.I doubt they were poor choices. Probably tradeoffs. Perhaps something held up the production of the CD (could have been Adam approving the remixes). And they decided they could not hold off any longer so added the immediate download because they need to sell a minimum amount of CDs. Charting is nice but not necessary. Breaking even on the CD is essential. |

Oh boy twitter is the devil. Some peeps are complaining about his tours in Asia, and this Steve Gray is getting involved. The people who are concerned that he is not servicing those who support him. It was Canadians voicing this opinion.
I unfortunately made a statement that is was a marketing strategy, and hopefully eventually get him more success in the US. They thought I was idiot. Go figure.
