I don't feel an era 'ends' for an album like...poof. Whatever plans for a possible new album, this is a great transition period for Adam to have continuous exposure without disappearing for a year and a half.

Myself, I would like to see a fall release or closer to the holiday shopping market. We all know the roll-out of TP was a mess. Just plop BTIKM out there in a dead time of year. I am happy Adam was number 1 on Billboard, but would have been happier if he had sold more units at a 'hot' shopping time and gotten more exposure.

But que sera...I sense that this has been a real growing experience for RCA and Adam. Timing, timing. TP has SUCH strong material, but strong or not, a label will only support so much. Even if they screwed up. Money is money.

Adam is getting fantastic gigs and whether he will actually 'tour' or not remains to be seen. This is very different than GN..TP IMO never has had sustained momentum. Adam was all over the place promoing, doing the mini-tour with Queen which is great for cred, but he also had a solo album that needed attention. I'm hoping TP can regain momentum now. I'd love that. TP will never fade away. Shady as a line dance? Many think that is silly but line dancing is a major dance form for mainstream get-togethers. I was totally impressed Shady was used here. Itza big deal.

I totally agree that Adam will not get another year and a half to create album three, whenever that may be. I think that is a very GOOD thing.
When Adam is under a timeline, he is more spontaneous and I think the music reflects that. That's why IMO FYE was so popular...it was a wild and eclectic mix..not too 'heavy' with statements.

And YES, Adam should feel free to make statements, maybe his autobiography came a bit early in the game.

We'll see, yes? For now, I'm rocking that he is getting prestigious gigs.
I'm happy for him. And Sauli will be home soon too. Life is good.

I know this is OT, but please send some prayers this way. My niece, her husband and her 1-year-old son were in a car accident Saturday afternoon and her husband died. He was only 31-years-old and their baby will not have any memories of him. I'm hurting so much for their families right now, please send prayers their way to Katie, Scott and Brayden's families.
