My only question about Adam singing at that wedding - did he sing country?  The song I would really have liked to hear was the one he wrote for Brooke's wedding last year. I was reminded of that when someone posted the "Pierce Brosnan" pic of him this weekend... :wub: As someone said earlier, he sure stands out in any crowd. :wub: |

And yet, even with their interest they refused to play it. Radio probably showed the most interest in NCOE because of the Bruno connection and because it's a generic/safe song choice.
IMO what RCA/Adam/his management need to do is stop courting US RADIO and start working the European market with his dance music. Break him internationally in the same way Gaga was broken internationally when US radio wouldn't touch her music. Adam selling out and making commerical/radio friendly crap is not the answer IMO. He needs to stick to what he loves and where his passion is. Even if RCA drops him I have no doubt another label would pick him up and perhaps they would know how to properly promote him and his vision. I just watched the Katy Perry movie and she had the same problem of the label not knowing how to promote her and she finally went to a label who let her do her thing and they went to work for HER and not for themselves and she took off. Adam needs that same thing. I agree! I think RCA needs to promote him heavily internationally and if Adam still want to do pop/dance songs, RCA/DMG needs to work with Club DJs and have his songs on every single clubs in the US. Good thing DMG is also Adam's management, so hopefully the formula they use for Katty Perry can be used also for Adam. |

Very interesting thread -- I trust Adam to work it all out. He has done amazingly well so far and he will be a global superstar. I have believe that since the first time I heard his voice and saw him kiss Paula's hand.
I am very interested to see how he looks on camera in his first acting role tomorrow night but from the clips, looks like it will be perfect for 14 year old girls.
ETA: I mean the above post in a good way!!
