Actually if you have @-words like @adamlambert or #-words like #Trespassing, many people are following those, and your tweets are seen. They are also counted in media buzz and positive/negative reports. ETA: I saw many others also answering, sorry for repeating, I was replying while reading..#Europewakingup What if the account is set as private? Then only accepted followers can see the tweets. I don't know if they are counted into any Twitter statistics. |

What if the account is set as private? Then only accepted followers can see the tweets. I don't know if they are counted into any Twitter statistics. Private Twitter account messages are not counted for statistics. For the most part Radio stations count the number of tweet to them (@radiostation) and the number of with a specific hashtag like #twitamix I cannot find any stations who use any "clout" measurement (people with lots of important followers) to ID influencers and treat their request differently. They do notice celebs and musicians -- so when Adam tweets the stations notice it. |

Yep, I saw it during the world series. It's the pic of Adam and Kris together right before or right after the announcement. As usual it's the only "two winners" clip among the rest. |
