Does that mean, "I have Friday morning off" ? If it does, it will be the only German phrase I ever translated correctly. :D But not in this case: Freitag = Friday .... Feiertag - Holiday It is a public holiday in Austria today, so I have a day off ... a long weekend in fact But you were close ;-) ETA: Nationalfeiertag - National Holiday ... like 4th of July ... Off by one vowel and a vowel scramble. I'll take it. ;D ETA: Queenbert, Queenbert, Queenbert! ;D |
