I don't have a basement!!! Weather people hype things so I'm with you - hoping for the best.
 Is there a page for east coasters to freak out together? After what happened last year I am leaving my glass house on stilts, surrounded by massive oak trees, and staying in a hotel. Just took before pictures of the house because I think this might just be the year it goes down. Last year electricity was out for 7 days, huge trees were down everywhere. We couldn't get out our driveway, and it is suppose to be worse this time round. Very exciting. CT, the new it place for tropical storms?? CT use to be one of the safest places on the planet. What's the deal yo! Anyone who does not think the larger trend for hurricanes further north is not part of global warming is crazy. I'm with you on that statement. Even Wisconsin weather has been really unpredictable for a few years. None of us know what to expect anymore! ??? Stay safe!!!!  |

Smart move to go to a hotel this time. Keep safe and stay in touch with us! Yes, CT is one of those places that gets a mild summer, sort of mild winter, & hurricanes rarely. :( |

Yes this is the scariest one here since I moved to the Us in 96.
My stepson and his wife and kids are in CT.
Hubby was supposed to fly out of Providence tomorrow morning but we will likely be in the basement at home in MA instead. At least its not too cold for my tropical fish if the power goes out and we had the big tree that was threatening the house cut down 3 weeks ago - good timing.

Skylar, if not too intrusive, I'd love to see a pic of your house on stilts! Lots of glass, too, if I remember?

Sunday morning on Atop -- I miss NoAngel's essays, but we did get some thoughtful posts from Skylar and Aleksandrakv. Thanks for all the funny posts too and the newest info from Adamland. Keep safe everybody!!!

 :D i'm watching this. A lot of the retro uniforms are uuuggly like this but these are pretty funny. And I keep thinking Trespassing too. Of course just about everything goes back to Adam somehow for me haha.  Just imagine one of these With TRESPASSING 01 but they are awfully pricey. NFL $144.99  |
