NOT your ears. She is out of tune in many places. However, she does sing with passion. But the pitch issues take away from the performance. KP's singing isn't very good live, but I've loved her since AI 8 Top 3 results night. That is the night that I became a fan of Katy Perry.

Yes, I didn't get to meet him at one of the meet and greets (not yet anyway) but have been very close to him several times when he came out to sign after various concerts and he is much more beautiful and more 'fragile' and 'etherial' in person than he is in the photos, just stunning, draws your eyes to him I was very fortunate to have a M&G with Adam. He walked in - elegant posture & stride. He is stunning, especially the eyes, but I was even more impressed with the calm, in-the-moment presence. Thanks everyone for the descriptions. It sound like he would make an excellent guru/cult leader if this singing thing doesn't pan out.

I met him very briefly after the Houston concert at the barricades; I was on the front row. He had changed into jeans, t-shirt and flip flops; no makeup and when he looked at me with those gorgeous blue eyes and smiled, I just about lost it but managed to say "thank you for coming out to sign; I know you must be exhausted." he looked at me again, very quickly, and said "Aww; you're welcome!" Once I got home, i did not sleep a wink the entire night; just kept thinking about the concert (I was on the 4th row) and meeting him ever so briefly. As I watched him go down the line signing autographs, the things that I loved watching was how he smiled, made eye contact and spoke to every single person that asked him to sign something. It was magical, I tell ya. There's something about being in his presence and particularly being so close to him at the barricades that is just indescribable. Sweet memories.

Hmm, checked out Hugo's Menu. Looks great. Sort of healthy organic South American food.

OTT
Been reading about the workers at Japan's nuclear power plant, who have volunteered to stay and work. They are sacrificing their lives for the good of their country and the world. These are true heroes. Reading about one man in particular 44, single and no family. He felt others had people depending on them, so he is willing to sacrifice for the good of all. these men will have radiation poisoning and die soon.
Tears in my eyes.

SQUEEEE!!! milestougeaux: Having fun watching Sia and Ad creating music in studio.... Diggin this field trip Does anybody have an idea how the whole songwriting/recording thing works? Because he's tweeted about being in the studio with Nikka Kosta, Sia and a couple other people. He can't be recording duets with all them, can he? Do you think they are doing demos to submit to RCA and then he will re-record the chosen ones with a different producer? And does each individual song have a different producer who then lines up the musicians? I wonder if he will work with Monte and the gang on most of the songs or just a few and who decides that sort of thing. Anyone? Kanadie? Buehler?

Yes, me too! There was a part of me that was freaking out completely at the realness of seeing him so close, but he was so very calm and centered and, I don't know... like-- quiet on the inside. And very, very engaged in the moment. It was tremendously powerful and quite calming. What's interesting is that he wasn't being all zen or whatever. He was chatting and smiling and sweet, so it was really mindblowing. I've only experienced that same feeling around two other people in my life, and one of them was an 80-something aikido instructor who had studied Buddhism for 60+ years. He absolutely radiated peace and love. Okay, now I'm sounding like a total hippie, so I'll just scurry off and catch up with the thread, LOL :

I think they are going thru the creative process of writing, rewriting, creating the melody and sound. I think It's a process till you get what you feel is a good product.
