I was very fortunate to have a M&G with Adam. He walked in - elegant posture & stride. He is stunning, especially the eyes, but I was even more impressed with the calm, in-the-moment presence. I met him very briefly after the Houston concert at the barricades; I was on the front row. He had changed into jeans, t-shirt and flip flops; no makeup and when he looked at me with those gorgeous blue eyes and smiled, I just about lost it but managed to say "thank you for coming out to sign; I know you must be exhausted." he looked at me again, very quickly, and said "Aww; you're welcome!" Once I got home, i did not sleep a wink the entire night; just kept thinking about the concert (I was on the 4th row) and meeting him ever so briefly. As I watched him go down the line signing autographs, the things that I loved watching was how he smiled, made eye contact and spoke to every single person that asked him to sign something. It was magical, I tell ya. There's something about being in his presence and particularly being so close to him at the barricades that is just indescribable. Sweet memories. Your desription reminded me of a Charity Water comment I saved from a little girl. For some reason it makes me think of someone meeting Elvis. HAPPY 29th BIRTHDAY ADAM from your biggest fan in El Paso, TX. I am only 9 years old and have been sooo lucky to see you perform twice - LIVE!!! My favorite was in Costa Mesa, CA! After your awesome performance you came out by the busses and I got to say, "Adam I LOVE YOU" and you turned your head towards my direction and you looked into my eyes said "Thankyou" in the sweetest voice. And you had the most beautiful smile and sparkling eyes when you said it!! I will remember that most special night FOREVER!!!! I LOVE YOU and YOUR AMAZING VOICE!!! (My whole family does too!) LOTS of LOVE, Rebecca Weber

Crazylady, where ya been? Hey there! Well, I developed a sore throat and a bit of a cold over the weekend; felt really bad. I'm better but by the end of the day, I'm pooped! Still sniffling and sneezing a bit so I've been a couch potato. Thanks for asking!! So sweet...

I was very fortunate to have a M&G with Adam. He walked in - elegant posture & stride. He is stunning, especially the eyes, but I was even more impressed with the calm, in-the-moment presence. Yes, me too! There was a part of me that was freaking out completely at the realness of seeing him so close, but he was so very calm and centered and, I don't know... like-- quiet on the inside. And very, very engaged in the moment. It was tremendously powerful and quite calming.
What's interesting is that he wasn't being all zen or whatever. He was chatting and smiling and sweet, so it was really mindblowing. I've only experienced that same feeling around two other people in my life, and one of them was an 80-something aikido instructor who had studied Buddhism for 60+ years. He absolutely radiated peace and love. Okay, now I'm sounding like a total hippie, so I'll just scurry off and catch up with the thread, LOL : That's how I felt, too. I didn't think he was coming out to sign (but that's another story) b/c it was a day trip for them (they arrived from Dallas around 5 am and left after the concert about 11:30 going back to Dallas) plus he had had a couple of busy days in Dallas. Of course, we all went nuts when he got off the bus, and he WAS so cool, calm and collected and....yes, centered is the perfect word. Being in his presence, at a M&G or up close at the barricades, is something I wish everyone could experience. You won't forget it.

WITWIGNAFL: @brosninja: I wish I knew what @adamlambert looked like in person, so I can confirm or deny that i'm sitting next to him @ Hugo's. @wehodaily? @brosninja: And if he is... much more attractive in person @brosninja: Can any of my gays come and verify this for me? Lunch is on me if you do... @brosninja: Awww shit, it was him...oh well. LOL, and this is one of the questions from a fan: @msvickifonseca: @brosninja he beautiful, tall, dark, handsome, bedroom eyes, great hair and style - if this guy looks like that, he just might be - hope so! @brosninja: @msvickyfonseca LOL... he was most of that, but it was him. OMG, LOL!! @wehodaily: @brosninja he is supposed to haw a massive package, look for thatAdam always looks great, but it is kind of amazing how much he looks even greater live. When I see him live, I am completely bowled over by him. He sings even better in person and looks even better in person, which is the opposite of most singers/celebrities.

I hate the melodrama and worry and love all this fun and optimism and flailing and videos from Ferras and BJJean and articles from Sutan. Real life can suck sometimes for some people and this is like a refuge where Adam is the drug of choice. No! I am not 12, but today I feel like I am because of all the happiness here.

The first time I met Adam was the week after Idol at his first CBS Early Show appearance (May '09). It was also the first time I met nica575. We decided to meet at 7am. Then I got a call from her to meet at 6 am. Then another call for 5am. When the phone rang again I just said name the time and I'll be there. We met at 3:30 am.
This was Adam's first public appearance. It drew a decent sized crowd, maybe on the small side for for NYC. Probably about 200 people, perhaps a little more. There were no lines around the block and a lot of people showed up at the last minute.
We were right in the front, about a dozen feet from where Adam was standing at the piano. As he came out he walked down the barricade and signed autographs but stopped b4 he got to us. He still walked right by us on the way out and on the way back.
Adam had such a presence you just couldn't take your eyes off of him. During sound check, if he even shifted his posture, the audience went crazy. Someone called out to him to smile, and he did. *dead*. *screams*.
It was also my first up close view of the glambulge. Yes, even with loose pants it made it's presence known. Rickey's group (remember him?) was on the other side of the piano from us and you could hear them giggling. The giggling also made it to Rickey's video.
Good times.
edit: nica575, I only remember him singing Mad World and sitting there for the interview. Did he sing something else too? Yikes, how can I not remember?

It has been a fun day here and for me, Dadbert's tweets about having lunch with his rock star son and then seeing him make music with Sia just melted my heart and put a big smile on my face. I can only imagine how his Mom and Dad must feel - very proud and so incredibly happy for their sweet son.

The wehodaily thing is one for the records. LMAO. Little weird to be having lunch with dad as people stroll by looking at your crotch to identify you. Well, maybe not weird in Adam's world, but could throw some guys off their feed.
