Thank you for the pm's! I hear Master Plan too. Yeah, this song does not fit the album at all, IMO but I love hearing his lower register. It's so sexy.

Thanks for the PMs! I actually got it three times. Everyone here is awesome!!
I like it, but see why it wasn't on the album. It's great, but I don't think it fits with the overall sound of Trespassing.

I am not loving HOLD ON...this snippet just does not appeal to me. Maybe the full version would change my mind.
I agree with mys*&@^#r re last album quality and rock appeal.
To me....HO seems the sameas/sounds like....Can't Let You Go, which I know is a fav of many some Atopers.
I get as excited as the next when he hits the high notes in the midst of his songs, but not on an extended basis. I liked the first part of CLYG but when he starts the high "wails" ...he loses me. ...done that for the last album... I like the newer fresh sounds on Trespassing. And the ballads...amazing ... in particular the bonus tracks.
Perhaps out of context, but I agree with Slash ...his lower register... like in Runnin ...now that DOES IT FOR ME.
