[/IMG]
I was specifically referring to VH1 and people blaming Jim or VH1 for not adding the video to their countdown. The feeling among most "number watchers" is that VH1 does not add without some $$ or something from the labels. All you have to do is look at their videos and it is so random.
YES! This makes sense. So again the question is why wouldn't RCA push NCOE?

I would love to hear him cover some Marvin Gaye. Maybe "I heard it through the grapevine" or "Let's get it on"

kristen jristenin the beginning, the hosts made it a point to thank RCA for helping them make the connection w Adam becuz they had wanted him for awhile Guess they didn't know Adam's management. I think Live at the Vineyard tends to be more of a "label thing," which was one of the reasons I was glad Adam got to do it. There tends to be a lot of "radio people" at this event, including radio PDs and MDs (last year the PD for WTMX in Chicago was there).

I thought to be played at the VH1 Top20 is a combination of radio play and sales, both which Adam didn't have for all his singles BTIKM, & NCOE. BTIKM's doing better than NCOE, but still resulting the same. I've seen video's on VH1 from very obscure bands that had no airplay and didn't have sales to back them up so that can't be the reason. I think you've got to send the video to them and see what it does. Seems to work for others! :-/ Obviously this is all speculation, but I think it was apparent pretty quick that NCOE was DOA. I think maybe RCA just decided that it would be better to save their resources (money) rather than push something that wasn't going to happen.
