DJ DigiMarkþ@DJDigiMark Here it is: @adamlambert vs @michaeljackson - Cuckoo For Your Entertainment (DJ DigiMark's Off The Wall MixMash).http://soundcloud.com/djdigimark/adam-lambert-vs-michael … [soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/djdigimark/adam-lambert-vs-michael[/soundcloud] Didn't really get me going. Maybe because Cuckoo is one of my least favorite songs from the album (besides BTKM and NCOE) and I never really liked FYE. MJ sounds much better than Adam and I don't think this mixmash does Adam justice. I absolutely loved Another one bites the dust mixmash because of the obvious connection Adam has with Queen and Freddie, and because the Trespassing version in it was the Benny Benassi remix which already had the Queen vibe. Now there didn't seem to be that much of a connection between the two songs and as Evergreen pointed out, who knows what Michael Jackson's family and fans think, if they care at all. Although, there are always those rumors that Adam and Michael might have more in common than just taste in music... But anyway, about copyrights, I can't be sure but I believe the problem with Queen copyrights was that DJ DigiMark used video footage of Freddie and Queen performing. I would assume that the music part is legal... And thanks to didilynn and momtomany for lovely recaps and great spirit during show. Here is an excellent explanation of the situation. lawprofessors.typepad.com/media_law_prof_blog/2012/03/mashups-and-copyright.html

So if I understood correctly, it's all fair game and Adam and Queen get no money for it. No wonder Queen claimed copyright. For Adam it's great exposure but for them it's taking advantage of one of their greatest hits of all time.

By request, I have put all my videos together from the show into one clip. Nothing fancy, just pieced together with the YT clip editor tool. Enjoy!!!!
