He sang a stripped down set that included slower songs such as Grammy nominated “Whataya Want From Me,” and “Broken English,” as well as faster songs that had the crowd out of their seats and dancing like his latest single "Trespassing." Check out Adam’s performance of upbeat “Shady” in the video link below. Live In The Vineyard is a three-day event that consists of a series acoustic concerts from some of today’s hottest artists. Tickets were not sold for this exclusive event and the only way attendees could get in was by winning through contests. Other artists in the line-up for the night included Alanis Morissette, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, and Delta Rae. Most people in the audience had never seen Adam perform live, based on a raise of hands when asked. That was great news for Adam, who said he “likes to make new friends.” It is unlikely any of these newbies were disappointed with the seven songs he sang, even if they were not already familiar with his new music. He left the stage to a standing ovation, leaving everyone wanting more than the short 30 minute set. For those not able to attend the event, part of Adam’s performance will be televised because VH1 was on the scene. They tweeted, “We are recording ‘Trespassing’ for a #VH1Top20 bump-in on next week's episode." Adam truly shines in intimate settings such as the Live In The Vineyard event. It's aways after midnight and I'm clutching my towel and my set list.
So tired and still with a bit of fuel left!
I had all these plans. I thought I would meet Adam and we'd have a talk. Maybe just a little talk - but we'd exchange ideas and maybe I'd be able to tell him what he means to me without the fangirly stuff.
Didn't happen like that. Got to the venue and there was a short line. Once it opened I felt like royalty! My 'connection' made sure I, and my guest, were picked from the crowd and ushered in - - to front row center! Whoa! Had to get some wine to help me adapt!
Show is history. Opening acts were great! Venue was small and elegant - and I couldn't wait for Adam. He was in the theatre when we entered, grooving to the soundcheck taking place. Soon, though, he left. There was no way I could politely approach him. Noticed how squarely he stands. His posture is exquisite!
It's so late, and I'm doing the dorky thing. I'm squeezing my towel and breathing through it. Smells clean and sweet. Towel will now be part of the little shrine beside me. Next to ticket stubs, photos, autographs, and my cut-out certificate that shows I got 100% on the After Elton quiz of April 10th.

I think it's time to sleep! Well! Of all the last night's treats - Adam's ethereal, mellow and sweet set, but still intense - on occasion it looked like he wouldn't be able to restrain himself, like he'd jump up and burst out in a full rocker mode, bless him:) - but he didn't, he didn't, he remained true to the general tone and vibe he chose, and it just made the glory notes pop out more, and he didn't do this for a while, it makes the songs feel different, ( sometimes I feel like he always wants to dance and jump and keep the audience on their feet, that he hesitates to perform the slower songs) and I longed for this kind of set for a while and I loved all the videos (Shady!!!!), perfection, so many milli/nano/whatever-seconds of the amazing synergy of sound and image and movement, his voice in that body which absolutely does it justice, and that body in that outfit... his outfit last night was an absolute fabric/cut/colour/jewelry/button-free feast... (this is one sentence, lol...) So, of all the treats, I loved what happened to you best, my dear :D Such a story! Thank you so much  And thanks DiDi for the awesome pics And VH1Music's LOVEBERT?!?!?! Splendid! |

It feels so great to be hitting up VH1 again.. by both TV and computer. it seems like forever since Adam has been on VH1... oh yeah it was BTIKM.. which I loved by the way.
So thankful for the Ustream Napra Vineyard show.. the sound was amazing.Glad we turned the clocks back. momtomany you deserve that Adam towel and BTW you are beautiful in all ways.
