I am actually more interested whether Tommy decides to show up, mentally I mean. He did not even wake up when Adam called him out for missing in action in the middle of a song. I was actually quite surprised that Adam said so publicly during BE, but given that he even tweeted the video afterwards, I think that Adam has stopped covering up when Tommy screws up and Brain and Adam have to step in. He now lets the fan base know. To me Tommy looked like missing in action half the show. It saddens me to say, but I am a bit concerned about Tommy and Adam seems, imo, to have some concerns too. While he said 'ssshhhit Tommy', when it happened, he did not seem so much surprised as rather disappointed and Brian knew how to step in, so it probably has happened in rehearsals too. Hope Tommy can get his act together, whatever he is REALLY dealing with. Btw, agree on Reyna and her voice drama too. I wish Adam could rely on a bit more professionalism from some of his team. y/s Obviously, I am not talking all, just some team members. WUT? Huh? Man I must have really missed something!! [/IMG]
I noticed it, Craazyforadam. I mean, the lack of Tommy's playing during BE bridge. I don't know about your explanation, though... I was really surprised, but then I thought, because he had different guitar ( the set was acoustic, right?) that Tommy wasn't even supposed to 'hit it', perhaps. I wish the music people here explained that, I'd love to know.

Adam had to direct the sound guy at least once to turn up the guitar (in Dallas too.) When Adam turns to Tommy, during BE, and says, "Ya, Tommy" he is not calling Tommy out! He is doing "musician speak." All the guys were sitting down, even Brian and Ashley! I am kind of stunned right now. This entire set was "Adam centric." The background musicians were REALLY in the background. All of them
Perception is everythhing, isn't it! :-/

During BE, Adam only addresses Tommy directly once at 2:56 on this YT, www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcPBFJfAJUM&feature=youtu.be, and he says "Hit it, Tommy". This usually where Tommy does a solo when they are full electric, here he just continues in rhythm guitar mode, Adam shows no sign of concern and then starts that really incredible run. ETA: I see aleksandrakv edited to say pretty much the same thing.

Oops. Misunderstanding here.
Yes, Adam said: 'Hit it, Tommy', but then Tommy didn't do it, hit it ( not like he normally does) , I mean, so I wondered why. That's all.

Doing both! Thanks for the reminder - although I now have it down to a routine & don't USUALLY need a reminder. But today - with "other things" on my mind - that reminder was needed!

I thought Adam was announcing Tommy's solo, not blaming him for anything. :dunno:
Tommy just played the chords with the acoustic guitar - and then Adam started the wails. I think they did BE once with guitar solo and without Adam's wailing. Don't remember when but it was discussed here as some were missing the wails and others liked the guitar better. In LITV I thought the moment was a bit odd but probably just a misunderstanding - mostly on Adam's part I guessed (the instrument on mind).
All in all, in LITV the band including Tommy sounded fine to me, no complaints from me. Loved the audio on videos that captured the bass and the guitar much more than usual.

Perfect explanation! uhh, I usually don't care much about Tommy, so I will take that incredible run over Tommy's guitar solo at any time. If that was due to Tommy feeling sleepy, pls keep on doing so. I really love that run by Adam.
