Is this the shirt Adam wore at Napa with his beautiful new jacket? Sure is And Brooke's wedding and I think the night he was in the audience of Idol when he mentored.

Oh yeah, mys*&@^#r, so it does! ;D Although, while almost in the dreamland, I remembered that once upon a time when I did use long-sleeved shirts (with cuffs) it actually was difficult to get the sleeves through properly. Watching a couple of videos this afternoon also reminded me how very slim the sleeves of that jacket are. The idea of extra room for pulling the cuffs through did not seem at all far-fetched after that. Seeing the Balmain pictures I, of course, paid special attention to the sleeves looking for clues. It seems Adam did not do unbuttoning after all and therefore there is naturally no need to button back. Ergo, the question 'why leave them unbuttoned' vanished. Well, as long as it lasted, it really was interesting to dwell on the cuttings of sleeves. There is a lot of work and thought in there to make the sleeve fit. Both a big difference in the width of arm vs wrist and taking care of the natural posture where arms are bent and elbow needs room (even when just standing with arms down). Explanation: I used to be very much involved when my mother made clothes but it's a long time since and I actually have never made a proper jacket (that has the sleeve cutting) myself. That still leaves a question (that is only interesting for me personally I guess): Is there a real cut in high end men's jackets nowadays (sometimes, as a rule, not at all - in the place where the buttons are)? Most importantly, a new topic is needed for our entertainment ;D as I believe my glasses (or in reality their temporary absence, as I am myopic and take them off if I have to see something small) do not quite cover the needs of this forum. BTW If you didn't guess this... I am looking at you, Seoulmate, put your thinking-cap on! 8-) ;D

Oh, I forgot to mention that I think the Balmain jacket is gorgeous - I wouldn't mind having one myself. And it fits Adam really well - as always, much better than the model on their site.
